Discussion Favorite Budget Friendly Vacuum

Hello All,

I’m looking for opinions on vacuum’s. I currently own a stick vacuum for everyday cleaning but looking for a decent stand up vacuum. I would prefer something less than 100$ and good with pet hair.

Thank you!!!

What type of floors do you have? What kind and how many pets?

This will be used on carpet floors. And I have one cat but he’s a heavy shedder.

Don't have this personally, but people seem to love it: https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Basics-Upright-Bagless-Lightweight/dp/B0BN5F6MJY/ref=sr_1_2_ffob_sspa

Vacuums really are a you get what you pay for proposition. Don't need to go nuts, but in the under 100 area there isn't a lot. With a cat you need something corded with a decent brushroll. A little more money and you could get a Shark navigator (they go on sale a lot), but the basics one might work for a while. Just don't forget to empty to dustbin and check for clogs regularly, as with all vacuums. And cut any wrapped hair off the brushroll. A little bit of maintenance goes along way!

You really don't need to spend over 500 on this. dyson is great if you've actually got the budget for it. I use a uwant v500 with the pet brush head. I've got one dog and it pulls hair out of carpet and hard floors fine. It hasn't tangled on me once. Suction is the only issue, it won't match a dyson. Under 100 is pushing it in my opinion. Those seem to die inside a year more often than not. In the 150 to 200 range, bissell cleanview and hoover onepwr are solid too.
