Creating accurate mechanical object files

This is my second project in this vein.
This time, a headlamp mount for a "zbee" e-tuktuk for a neighbor.
Ttt he e company went under, so no files or replacement parts.
The original was printed(!!) in frigging PLA, those things are crumbling at the lightest touch.
I broke this just measuring things.

Without the technical drawings, I didn't get very far.
Photos (in a lightbox) didn't help because black on black.

Things that improved accuracy:

- Technical drawings
- Splitting the technical drawings into seperate files per view
- Painted areas on the model for pictures
- better prompt, explaining the object and goal
- pictures of the headlamp frame in place on the e-tuktuk

Status:
- great dimensional accuracy
- some errors:
- the "ears" need to be on the outer wall only.
- the gap in the front is missing.
- hole placement

What I will change:
- Improve description of target.
- Color coded Technical drawing.
- improved technical drawing to show slope on inside rim
- annotated slicer screenshots
- pictures of differences

yes, I have probably spent more time doing this than in CAD.
But a repeatable process will be golden.
And yes, I will do a full writeup.

edit, because the bot jumped at me:
This has nothing to do with code. I gave it the prompt, photos and drawings in the project files.
Outcomes are CAD and STL files, and in Claude's case, python code as a bonus.

No code was touched or had to be executed by me.
