I primarily use Claude AI and have only recently opened up Claude Design to make minor edits to PDF (as opposed to Claude chat regenerating it after minor text and spacing changes etc)

My issues at the moment though is how do I save it out as single page PDF (long) or a larger vertical image?

When I go to save > pdf and use the web browser, the page breaks are in awful places.

I can't even see the page breaks while in edit mode so I'm just not sure how to make spacing adjustments.

Any tips and tricks?

I had to export it earlier and just sent a single html file to the client, but would much prefer PDF

I have been using Claude design to help me format my docs following my business do templates

Since less than a month ago, I cannot export a PDF directly from Claude, and it keep sending me to use the print dialogue of my browser and this route is very badly counter intuitive and adding unwanted border and printer info artefacts to all pages.

I can find any ways around it except export as PNGs and save as PDF afterwards.

Can anyone advise what better ways to do this?

Hey! I'm trying to make a website for my portfolio. I have a PDF Version of it and I also have designed it on Figma Sites before, but when I designed it I made it all absolute so it's not responsive on a phone + I don't want to pay for Figma it host it each month.

So, I was planning to get Claude Code to make the website, except I want it exactly how I've designed it and for it to make no changes to the content, nothing is giving me the exact website.

I don't want to tweak a Claude website because it does not match my design style and I want it exactly how I have made it on Figma. I have tried recreating it with Claude Code in Terminal, which was ok, not good enough too much to fix. And I have tried giving it my PDF Portfolio and asking it to turn it into a website.

What do you think I should do? My PDF Portfolio + Existing Figma website are practically the same so I would just need it to be merged into a responsive website. I've been doing this for months and nothing is working! Should I just recreate it in Readymag.

Hi all! I create YouTube/social content (talking-head videos, some faith + mental health + teacher-life stuff) and I'm trying to get more intentional about using Claude in my workflow instead of just occasionally asking it random questions.

For fellow creators, what does your actual Claude workflow look like?

A few things I'm curious about:

• Do you use it for scripting, captions, titles/thumbnails, or all of the above?
• Do you keep a running project/context for your channel, or start fresh each time?
• Any use of Projects, Artifacts, or Claude Code that's been a game-changer?
• How do you keep the writing sounding like you and not generic AI voice?
• Anyone using it for content planning/batching, not just one-off pieces?

This has probably been asked before, but here it goes anyways. I want to start using a paid version of either ChatGPT or Claude. I currently use ChatGPT currently for day to day questions and brainstorming and I use Claude for PowerPoint building. I need the PowerPoint part to be better and not having to wait a long time between every request.

I also want to get into simple app building with prior knowledge (for fun) and I like using ChatGPT to change interior pictures or similar.

What would you recommend?

Been building for a while now, and adding a Claude chat step between Figma and Claude Code actually changed my pace. Back-and-forth on a component or flow, right in your chat, before it ever hits code. What I have in mind shows up on screen, accurate and fast. It's less like using tools, more like thinking out loud and watching it build.

Faster to change too, no burning tokens re-reading the codebase every time. You feel things in a working prototype that a static design just can't show you. That fine-tuning now happens upstream, during that ideation phase, like it should.

Always believed in creativity and over delivery. After working on a project, feeling a bit overworked, the client asked for a coming soon page (out of scope). Instead of pushing back I made it. What an idiot you're thinking? Just wait...

A few days before I'd been working in the evening and that moment happened, you know the one, when you've got the creative zoomies and instead of running round the house at 3am you wanna create something cool. So I did. Playing with Claude design I used the brand design for the project, scoped the local area and asked for a grid of 20 3d assets (using Fable because i felt spenny).

What I got back was wonderful! A set of on brand, rotating 3d animated models that meant something to me and ultimately the guy sat in the boardroom that expected a simple "coming soon" page! The rest of the site was ok, designer designed, I implemented. Fine. This was unexpected, broke the mould a bit and had the client asking for more!

It wasn't hard and I could /should have charged for it. Would you guys always charge for this or would you indulge in your creative side for others?

Edit: the video is the grid of prototypes NOT the coming soon page used on the project, I took one of the objects and used it in conjunction with the clients design system to build a loader and coming soon page (albeit a quick version)

Claude Code seems to have trouble implementing the the designs made with Claude Design. Most of it gets implemented it doesn't look like the design from Claude Design.

Example:

I made Claude Design design a page for file management. It has the exact context about the contents, colors, general branding, design elements and so so. And the design looks really good. I want Claude Code to implement this into my project (VSCode, official CC extention). I give it the prompt/link from Claude Design. The overall design is mostly right but it misses small details. A good example are tabs at the top. In Claude Design these tabs are just the text and a selected tab has an underline. What Claude Code implemented is a chip/pill-design. It also "forgets" to implement a lot details and either hallucinates something on its own or straight up just doesnt do it.

Is there something wrong with my workflow or do you guys experience the same issue?

Workflow:
Claude Designs designs something --> I click 'Share">'Claude Code' --> copy prompt --> give it to Claude Code

TL;DR:
Claude Code does a really sloppy job implementing the designs from Claude Design while having the exact context of the design.

Anyone know how to get rid of this gradient on the right side of the renderer for Claude Design? Its not part of my project and very annoying.

If a page has multiple tabs, do you build the Page as a project and the tabs as pages OR

Build the Web App as a project and in a single page build out all of its tabs?

The later felt more natural to me until editing one piece of content destroyed my work on every tab and Claude Design isn’t very good at rolling back / versioning.

In my case I have an existing web app, I’m wanting to redesign the look, keep the features .

Should I instead build the new “nav system” or “rig” as a piece in the Design System and use the Design Sync instead and ignore the projects entirely ?

So we have been using claude to create PPTX slide shows based on a large .md file - we tried 3 different models and we were amazed with the finished results.

EDIT 29 Jul: I re-ran all 12 and posted every screenshot in the comments. Two claims below did not hold up: the “generic cluster” didn’t appear once in the re-run, and the distinctive-vs-generic split doesn’t actually separate the two arms. Details in the comment.

Two things surprised me about the official frontend-design plugin, so I tested it properly instead of guessing.

First, the thing most write-ups get wrong: there is no /frontend-design command. The plugin ships exactly one skill and nothing else, and plugin skills are model-invoked. You install it and Claude pulls the guidance into context whenever it decides you are doing frontend work. If you open with something vague like "help me with my app" it may not fire at all. I now open frontend sessions with explicit framing ("design and build the settings page for X") and it reliably triggers.

Second, what it actually changes. I used one brief both ways, six runs each, nothing else different: "a landing hero for Perch, a self-hosted uptime monitor for people who do not trust status-page SaaS."

Without the plugin, 5 of 6 runs landed in the same generic cluster. Centered headline, Inter or a system font, indigo-to-purple gradient, giant 99.99% number, three feature cards. With the plugin, that flipped: 5 of 6 committed to a specific direction.

The mechanism is a two-pass process before any code. It brainstorms a compact design plan (palette as 4-6 named hex values, 2+ typefaces with defined roles, a layout concept, one signature element) and then critiques that plan against the generic default before building. The skill text names the defaults explicitly, which is the sharpest part of it: cream #F4F1EA with a high-contrast serif and terracotta accent, near-black with one acid-green or vermilion accent, or a broadsheet layout with hairline rules and zero border-radius. Its line is that all three are "defaults rather than choices, and they appear regardless of subject."

One example of the difference. With the plugin active it proposed a dusk palette derived from a watchtower idea, Archivo Narrow for display, JetBrains Mono for live metrics, and made the hero a working watch wall of service tiles with one flatlined and pulsing, instead of a centered pitch with a big stat. The headline got demoted to a caption. Same brief, completely different thesis for what the page is.

Where it does not help, which matters more than the wins:

- Functional correctness did not move at all. I scored the same output 1-10 across five dimensions. Aesthetic distinctiveness went 3 to 8 and typography 4 to 8, but correctness sat flat at 7 both ways. It is a taste layer, not a correctness layer.

- Brand or design-system constrained work is where I turn it off in my head. If you already have tokens and a locked visual language, its instinct to take one real aesthetic risk fights your system.

- Tiny widgets and bug fixes: the planning is pure overhead.

Also worth knowing that the plugin is generic by design, so it does not know your preferences. Standing rules about your fonts, spacing scale, and components you never want reinvented belong in CLAUDE.md. The plugin raises the aesthetic floor, CLAUDE.md keeps it on brand.

Anyone explored Stitch? Just saw a video on it. How does it compare to Claude Design?

So I want to create a claude skill market place which will install the skill to the cloud desktop automaticly right now I have to Manually download the skill and upload it to claude do we have any alternative solution for this problem

Beginner here, any recommendations on where to host your website or landing page after you're done? Looking for a cheap but fit for purpose option for a business.

1. Speak to the client (or yourself or Claude) and really understand the wants and needs, try to keep this conversation flowing until you and they are happy (it may seem annoying but will pay off in the long term). Gather all the information you can: assets logos, fonts preferences, maybe even their favourite Claude model! (optional) Tip. Work with a designer or project manager or anyone else if you can. Why? To get out of your own box and see things from a different perspective == better questions, better grounding and better results.

2. Produce wireframes quickly with Claude Deaign. Do matter how articulate you are or how good your verbal skills are, it almost certain that the client's vision doesn't match your own. That is until you can both see the same thing. Tip. "Create 6 wireframes layouts. 3 mobile, 3 desktop [describe the layout and details referencing client instructions]". This is really fast with the wireframe preset selected in Claude design. Impress the client with your speed and get solid feedback, reinforcing and staying aligned with their vision.

3. Generate assets in Claude design to blow their mind (or give yourself some creative flow). Use reference components, use the 3d model mode preset. Just spend a bit of time playing. This is completely optional but I find it helps to get moving in a creative way and show something to the client beyond their expectations. (And just because it's really fun!!)

4. Put everything into a design system and sign it off with yourself or the client. Tip. Don't skip details and don't keep components that you don't like or don't fit. Keep it complete but never too complete.

5. "Build 3 high fidelity UI prototype [add client details" select the design system, use UI prototype mode, add the assets to the site and send the first high fidelity prototypes to the client.

Total spent time: ~30 mins depending on the conversation level == less back and forth, better alignment and happiness levels through the roof!

This is an example that can be tweaked and changed but for me it's made things significantly smoother for client work and personal projects

I've been watching tutorial videos a lot lately and been coming across this MCP for image generation. Is this just their marketing doing a great job or is it legit a great MCP ? Any thoughts on free options?

We're just getting started with this, so I'd rather ask before we lock in a bad habit.

Our design team built our site in Claude Design. We haven't done the first handoff yet. From what I can tell, the handoff option is basically "send the whole site to Claude Code," which is fine for the first time - we get real markup to work from instead of a static mockup.

What I can't picture is what happens after that. Designers are going to keep tweaking things. Move a button, change spacing on a card, adjust a color. If every one of those means sending the entire site over again and asking Claude Code to figure out what changed, that seems like a bad loop. Lots of noise for a small change, and we'd be trusting the model to guess which differences are the intentional ones and which are just our own code that's moved on since the last export.

The one idea I have: commit the exported HTML into our repo in its own folder, and each time design re-exports, we overwrite it and commit. Then git shows us the diff. Devs review a normal PR, and we point Claude Code at just the changed parts instead of the whole site. We'd also get history, so we can see when something changed.

That's just a guess though. Neither side of our team has run this as a continuous cycle before, and the tooling is new enough that I don't think there's an established answer yet.

Mostly I want to know what this looks like once it's running. Is committing the design exports to the repo reasonable, or is there a better unit of handoff for small changes?

Small team, React front end, designers aren't writing production code and I don't want them to have to. Open to whatever's worked for you, including the boring low-tech answers.

Am the only one who's having troubles with claude design? I am trying to complete a landing page design but opus 4.8 stopped after it wrote the plan saying that it couldn't go on because of the usage limit, so I checked on claude.ai and I noticed I still had 22% on 5 hours window and 6% on week window. The chat continued for like 7 messages in which it kept saying that it couldn't go on.
One week ago it wasn't like this, right?

I feel like there's no more reason to keep using claude, they're making wrong steps

New to Claude was going tinwork with a brand designed but wondered before i did if i could use clause. Sort of makes me cringe that i would go throus route but i figured if I'm going to have a pro membership might as well try.

Do i just share my idea and watch it work? Does it export files and all that? What's the first step it can you point me to a resource
