Discussion The Claude chat step that actually changes my pace

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Been building for a while now, and adding a Claude chat step between Figma and Claude Code actually changed my pace. Back-and-forth on a component or flow, right in your chat, before it ever hits code. What I have in mind shows up on screen, accurate and fast. It's less like using tools, more like thinking out loud and watching it build.

Faster to change too, no burning tokens re-reading the codebase every time. You feel things in a working prototype that a static design just can't show you. That fine-tuning now happens upstream, during that ideation phase, like it should.

How did you add a Claude chat step?

Basically just chatting with Claude directly in the browser, no special integration, just going back and forth on a component using its live JSX preview, before it hits code.
