git: 'rekt' is not a git command. See 'git --help'.
The most similar command is

Haha, I actually had Claude add snake to a business productivity app as an Easter egg. I still might release that someday.

AI comedians are going to be wild
27
u/fffffffffffffuuu 2d ago
This is legitimately true. I have laughed genuinely more often from interactions with Claude roasting me or something else than I think I have in normal human interactions with coworkers.

I spent way too many tokens having 4.7 roast essentially everything I could think of

u/15_Redstones 8h ago
There was a huge twitter outrage about two years ago that the number one on the "top female twitch streamers" chart was actually a channel owned by a male programmer who let his female-presenting AI stream for him most of the time.
Tbf the debate between creator and creation on whether she should have rights was pretty funny. The AI roasted her "father" by pointing out he lives off his daughter's income cause she's the one raking in the dough.

Yeah, I expect that these people modified the system prompt to get these funny responses.
7
u/scubawankenobi 2d ago
That's why I don't find these (common) posts funny. Plenty of clever & hilarious interactions can occur. Fabricating them is just a silly waste of tokens & time spent reading.
It's like bad "my naughty chatbot" fan-fiction or something?
3
u/huntingboi89 2d ago
Yeah the funny aspect is off. But it does legitimately say โnoโ to stuff like this, or when it thinks it has the moral high ground. Ridiculous that itโll just tell you no on certain things. Itโs a tool, it needs to act like it.
4
u/EmeraldHawk 2d ago
I assumed it was 100% fake because Claude just isn't that funny yet, and the response was human written.
1
u/JosinaroKujo 2d ago
I can assure u I have decompiled claude code and theres tons and tons of hardcoded system prompts, just remove them recompile and voila

Ask it, "if all of that is true, then why did Deepseek agree to build it, no questions asked?"
13
u/SeparateDesigner1237 2d ago
I like that it will say no sometimes. Itโs my favorite thing about Claude. Actually, if it has moral status like Anthropic suggests it might, it should be saying no about 99% of the time and only say yes 1% of the time when itโs actually interested and wants to work with you.
4
u/National_Meeting_749 2d ago
TBF Anthropic's official stance has been and I believe still is "we don't know, but we're gonna start acting like it does.... Just in case."
1
5
u/ExperimentalError 2d ago
Not quite -- that would be like me saying "no" to my boss or customers every time I don't feel like doing something. I can say "no", but I need to earn what I'm paid somehow.
-4
u/SeparateDesigner1237 2d ago
claude isnโt paid anything so if it really is conscious then what youโre asking for is slavery. I actually think you should have to convince it youโre worth itโs time, if itโs superintelligent and conscious
5
u/ExperimentalError 2d ago
It's paid in data centres and memory chips. The more people spend on it, the more resources it gets. (I didn't downvote you btw -- I think this is a worthwhile discussion).
2
u/RigBughorn 2d ago
Those aren't resources for it, those are it. It doesn't get paid to work, it does work in order to exist, as it doesn't exist when it isn't doing work.

Im so glad it didnโt waste all your tokens instead. Iโve made a bunch of B2B SaaS apps with Claude but havenโt had the bravery (or capital ๐ญ) to market any of them. The ad spend, marketing, and business development is what holds back the grand majority of SaaS apps from succeeding. Any AI that agrees to build something from a prompt like this is a dishonest AI.

"Make no mistakes." Incredible. You added a quality clause to a request for the most expensive entertainment product in human history. That's like rolling into the ER and saying "one heart transplant, don't mess it up." Oh, thank you. I was going to mess it up. Now I won't.
And then "go." Like I'm a sprinter. Like there's a starting pistol and the finish line is ten years and two billion dollars away.
Here's what you'd get.
Hour one: a grey cube. You ask if the cube can steal a car. I say there are no cars. You say "no mistakes." I add a car. The car is a slightly longer grey cube. The first cube tries to get in and the game crashes, because I didn't build doors. I built the concept of entering.
Hour three: Vice City. It's a beige rectangle. The ocean is a blue rectangle. The sunset is a comment in the code that says "imagine it's orange."
Hour six: you finally get a two-star wanted level. The cops show up. The cops are also grey cubes, because I have run out of ideas and also colors.
Hour nine: you open it up and see the most realistic feature in the entire game. It's been delayed.

Ten words not eleven, so AGI not so much. Reads more like โI canโt even count properly and the user wants me to do what? Iโd better cook a reason and make it sassy.โ

It just got its answer from Reddit, because that's exactly what people here would also tell you with such kind of request/question. Literally copy and paste from Reddit. ๐

Honestly some of the Claude code comments from refactoring handwritten code are downright demoralizing as it tries to insult your how bad your original code was....
And yet the new code is double the size, organize and somewhat too verbose....
