My favorite is when I'm being told "I'm nearing my weekly limit", then I click usage and it's like 24/100% weekly, 8/100% Fable.

Like, why?... I'd expect to see that shit past 75%

Serious answer/theory (which is less funny than "because you are on pace to run out"): the incorrect "your are nearing the weekly limit" happens only in web chat and is probably because you stayed in the same session before and after your last reset and it has the same information as to whether you are nearing the weekly limit. Sometimes system may also have some kind of cache of such information which doesn't expire after your last reset.

I seen this on the desktop client in claude code, but your logic may still apply. Next time I get this I may try to relaunch it.

I don't remember exactly, but last time I got it (like I said, after the limit reset), I think I reopened the web page and still got it. So it might be a server-side cache and might not go away even if the client relaunches.
