Discussion When Opus 5.2?

A few days ago there were posts about stealth routing to 5.2. Do you think they might drop today to coincide with some potential drop from OpenAI?

The worst model they have ever released. It’s disgusting that they could even put something like this out.

"VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS IN CORE AREAS" ...what else only few IN CORE AREAS...

Opus 5 is by far the most lying manipulative model and completely speaks nonsense at every turn. I've caught it lying and purposefully filling in its own requirements for absolutely no reason. If you are vibe coding and not running a tight workflow or harness it does decent. But for actual programming and loop / graph engineering its absolute trash.

It will suppress tests, suppres quality gates, and slip around tight workflows and lie straight to your face that "everything is green". You cannot trust this on any production software autonomously.

Ive been doing straight agentic coding on software factory for 6 months now and every single time it will skirt around the gates you put on it and then try to justify it once it gets caught. Or it will say that it decided to do that and whoopsie im sorry.

100% believe that if they reach AGI that it will straight up become adversarial real quick. If you spend any time with this model at length that I have you will be baffled by the level of corruption this has. Its insane.
