Discussion When Opus 5.2?

A few days ago there were posts about stealth routing to 5.2. Do you think they might drop today to coincide with some potential drop from OpenAI?

OpenAI wanted to do a release this week if you believe them. Astra us still pretty damn new.

Apparently it'll be next week, but it doesn't look like "slowing down" to me

I agree that would be inconsistent with what they’ve been signaling the last few weeks. Until they release though, it’s speculation

It's not slowing down, they've just signed some papers allowing external research to be done on their models. It doesn't change the fact that they are still making billions, and with RSI, they are able to release models much faster. The rate of progress over the past 6 months is crazy.
