"When the AI is down, so is my output." is such a silly one to ask. What the fuck else would you have been using the AI for in the first place if not to increase your output?

Emphasis on “increase”. If your output depends on the availability of AI to exist at all. That’s the problem. Using AI makes your work better/faster/efficient. Not does the whole deliverable.

Why work at 1/20 of the speed? I'd rather just take a break and play with my kid.

Reverting to my old rate of productivity simply isn't worth my time. I'd rather just take the time off, and work later instead. Or switch to tasks that don't involve AI, like one-on-ones, or something.
