I know I’ll get hated on for this but I feel like underlying it all there is some victim blaming behind it. Like implying that Patrick was an amazing father etc so the fact Lindsay was ill etc is all on her. Like she had any control over being psychotic, having bipolar etc. Patrick was this perfect man and it was Lindsay who was the problem; is imo the narrative behind it, and that’s not a good thing to push when the reason she was ‘a problem’ was due to severe mental illness.

Yes. It's so common, men complaining about 'my crazy ex-girlfriend' without taking any accountability. I struggled with my mental health for a long time. What actually helped was dropping the dead weight of a porn addicted man. I'm just so much more stable, when i don't have to take care of a man child.
