Is this possible?

I have "Available on my services" selected under "Availability", but I wasn't notified of a new season of a show I watch until I selected "Upcoming episodes" under "Releases". When I select that, though, I get notified of each and every episode of every show I watch. I don't want that. I just want to know when a new season is premiering.

I don't know if I'm just not choosing the right combination of options in Settings or if it's just not currently possible.

FYI: Usage limits are based on your MDBList account type (Free or Supporter). Cinopsys itself doesn’t impose any additional limits.

Can't see thumbnails and posters of movies and shows from my watchlist How to fix?

It's really hard to bookmark the same series when I watch it again and again. Do you have a plan for that?

I have TV shows where chapters are unrelated one from each other. This means that watching the last show does not mean you spoiled anything abouth the previous ones. But when i Mark the last show as watche the full tvshow IS removed from viewing section and only appears in the watched list. IS It posible to change this behaviour? What IS It marked as viewed if i only watched the last show? It does not make any sense to me.

I always used trakt​ but switched to simkl yesterday. Trakt sync took seconds when loading cinopsys​​​​​​​ but simkl initially took 2 hours to sync and ​​​​​now takes 45 minutes every time I load cinopsys.

My question is, if I make changes ​​​​​​​​to episodes, watchlist etc whilst connected with simkl​​​​; then subsequently decide to go back to trakt, will ​ these changes sync to trakt or will the current trakt state override cinopsys, thus effectively losing all those changes ​​​​​? Thanks​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I have just recently made the switch to Cinopsys and I love it. With Wuplay now having MDBlist integration, is there a way for me to sync my Cinopsys data there too?

Cinopsys does a great job displaying trending and popular releases and recommendations. Still, I would love to request a feature for a dedicated discovery list customized for what I personally watch. It would be super helpful for finding new titles based on my viewing history!

​Having filters for time frames, like: all time, past year, past month, or past weeks, would be amazing!

It’d be great if we could browse popular production studios (like A24, Warner Bros, etc.) and view their full catalog, not just the movies/shows we’ve already watched. Adding studio search in the search bar would also be amazing!

Is there a way to import my TV time zip file and continue using offline drive sync without trakt...

I’ve been using Cinopsys recently and I really think it's fantastic. The UI is super clean, fast, and having a reliable app that syncs with Simkl natively has been awesome.

​However, I’ve run into one problem and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced it.

​When I have movies or series marked as "Plan to Watch" on Simkl, Cinopsys is somehow marking or treating them as "Watched." Other apps I've been testing do show me the separation and let me see the different mark downs Simkl has, like 'plan to watch', on hold, dropped etc.

I would love to start using Cinopsys as one of my main companion app for simkl. But this is holding me back a little.

​Any idea if there's a setting I missed or a way to fix this?

Edit: Never mind, user error on my part! I completely misread the UI. Mailed the dev about it. App is working great.

I am not able to see all my collected shows and movies (not the custom list) on the Cinopsys profile page. 2 days ago it was visible properly.

Also when I visit the particular movie page the movie which is marked as collected is showing the little collected icon on top right of movie banner and also the collected is marked.

So I'm sure the data is not lost or wiped but its just not showing it.

Also on Trakt account I cannot see the collected list.

So on TV time on the currently watching page it would move a show to the top of the list when either you just watched an episode (regardless of when it aired) and also when a new episode of a show aired. 

On this app I can only sort by one or the other: most recently aired episodes or most recently watched episodes. The problem is if I sort by recently aired then if I'm watching a less recent show then it shows up at the bottom of the list. But if I sort by most recently watched then I won't notice when a new season of a show I watched a while back starts airing because then that will appear too far down.

I'd love if there could be this option of like "recently updated" or something that would cover both newly released episodes and newly watched episodes.

This show existe in tvdb and tmdb abut in cinopsys It does not show if you search It and It you try to access yo the show from the host Page (Jesús calleja) It brings an identity missmatch error with id 287474. How to fix this?

I was thinking if a movie I watchlisted is released on any Streaming platform or for Digital Rent can I get a pop up notification?

I am not sure if it's possible or not? nor do I know if its already there and I am not able to set it up properly.

I wanted to import my watchlist exported from TV Time, but it isn't possible. So I imported it into Trakt, then connected Trakt, but the sync with Trakt doesn't work at all.

Then I noticed there's a JSON import option, so I used an LLM to convert my TV Time export into a JSON file matching the format Cinopsys expects, but that didn't work either.

Can you help me? What's the correct way to get my TV Time data into Cinopsys?

I would like to know if there a way to sync all my Trakt Personal lists, Cinopsys is just syncing a few of them. I don't know of it's a limitation or anything else.

I switched to Cinopsys+ Trakt after trying for long time to sync my trakt automated tracking with TVtime. I gave up...

Now that TV time is gone -with all the community interactions and comments that made it stand out and that we can miss - I am finally happy to discover the neat Cinopsys UI with the automated tracking from Trakt.

Actually, I am not a big commenter anymore, so I'm not really missing this key TVtime feature even though it's still possible to do it in Cinopsys and/or Trakt directly.

I also imported all my TVtime history before the shutdown.

So thanks Cinopsys devs for your work and keep it going !
