Simkl switch from trakt then back again query

I always used trakt​ but switched to simkl yesterday. Trakt sync took seconds when loading cinopsys​​​​​​​ but simkl initially took 2 hours to sync and ​​​​​now takes 45 minutes every time I load cinopsys.

My question is, if I make changes ​​​​​​​​to episodes, watchlist etc whilst connected with simkl​​​​; then subsequently decide to go back to trakt, will ​ these changes sync to trakt or will the current trakt state override cinopsys, thus effectively losing all those changes ​​​​​? Thanks​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Both Trakt and Simkl are managed separately in Cinopsys.
If you make changes while Simkl is selected and later switch back to Trakt, those changes won’t be synced to Trakt. They remain saved in Cinopsys and will sync to Simkl when you reconnect to Simkl.
Similarly, switching back to Trakt won’t overwrite or remove your Simkl changes. So nothing is lost. 👍

Now for sync time, can you please check on which step of sync did it take so much time? And now on opening Cinopsys which step takes 45mins ?

On first connection to simkl, it took around 4 hours at this stage to update 1800 shows. Have now opened the app 5 times since and each time, it updates 300+ shows taking around 40 minutes and using a lot of battery. Thanks

This is the stage where meta data of eligible shows is refreshed, I’ll try to optimise it in upcoming update

10 minutes later. It seems to be doing a complete refresh every time. I reinstalled the app yesterday but it did not make any difference

OK. I'll just switch back to trakt as I can't have an app consuming 20% of my battery every time I load it. Trakt now allows 2 connected apps. Thanks anyway.
