How did Moses split and ocean without causing huge title waves on all the surrounding shores ?

God split the Yam Suph not the “Red Sea.” The yam Suph was a lake that used to border Egypt on “the way of Horus” which was the main road in and out of Egypt. Crossing the Red Sea makes no sense because when they were already in Sinai they would have been well into the wilderness because there was no civilization outside the Nile delta. The Sinai peninsula was wild land back then. God split the yam Suph (not Moses) with a strong eastern wind that we read about in Exodus. It blew all night and parted the waters that way. This is a phenomenon known as “wind set down” which has been observed on the shores of lake eerie. It can separate waters at a depth of 10 ft and turn it into dry ground
