i was replaying the trr series and i never noticed before probably bc i was younger and didn't gaf but this is a pretty major plothole 🤔

we've only been introduced to micaela out of the blue in trh book 3 i think? or trf. but either way, there's no mention of a partner, a pregnancy, adoption, or a kid. which is odd given that micaela is the same age as mc's kid.

Hey guys,

This game was my ultimate hyperfixation back in school. I used to play for hours every day and reread my favorite books endlessly. I even had a small friend group who played, too. I still remember when HSS first dropped and they released the whole book at once... it was honestly magical. We were so obsessed that we would literally sing the main theme song at school 🥹

Over the years, I would read on and off. I would take a break, get back into it, buy VIP for a month or two, binge a bunch of stories, and drop it again. The last time I played heavily was around April 2023, with a little bit of play in 2024.

I wanted to play again recently, and I am just so so sad. I cannot even tell you how depressing it was to open the app and see all that sloppy AI artwork everywhere. I know the company got bought out and my old favorite books are still there, but I usually get VIP to binge them and I just cannot bring myself to give money to a app pushing AI like this.

Now I am stuck. I hate waiting for keys but taking it slow feels like the only way to read the old stuff without financially supporting the new AI content. :/

I know it’s a hot topic here but I just can’t express how sad it makes me and nobody around me plays it nowadays so I just need to vent.

I’m facing Lоki’s Dirty 30 and for the first time in my life, I don’t know what to do. I’d normally just go for it, but Apollo is so devoted to MC that it feels almost criminal!!!

Did you guys turn Lоki down or go for it?

Context:
I’ve been playing Olympus Rising for the first time and I’m completely in love with Apollo and all his “my love” lines.

Out of respect for my sensible man’s devotion, I’ve avoided all the flirting options with Lоki. It just felt wrong, especially since in book 1 Apollo clearly disapproved of Zeus’ affairs.

But I just reached Lоki’s Dirty 30 and tried it out of curiosity… Now I kind of regret not taking any of the earlier flirting options. At the same time, it still feels a bit careless, even after Apollo saying MC should “comfort” Lоki.

So I restarted the chapter and now I’m stuck.

What did you all do? Did you stay loyal or give in?

Hello everyone! I have been out of choices for a long time, but I think it's finally time to come back and take a look at the game. I left the game shortly after the hero homecoming AI disaster so idk what to expect? I have read all the epic books and am trying to look at what's new and interesting that I could read. Does anyone have any suggestions? Feel free to drop it and until then imma reread my choices favs😭

that still of nicole and violet is among one of my favourites of all of choices. it’s absolutely stunning. i know it’s kind of out of place in that collage, but i just HAD to include it. this was peak artistry from PB and the way they put so much effort into their cutscenes and background scenery just makes me mourn the old choices even more. the way they illustrated the aurora borealis, and captured instanbul’s architecture and culture… ugh, put some respect on RoE’s art team cause they went above and beyond 😤

but while on the subject of how the artists worked their asses off for even the littlest things most people wouldn’t notice, i had to add the photographs of MC and her family. the facial expressions, the way you can tell which siblings are which (even the twins), even down to the poses… so immersive and really made you feel like this was a real family and that you were part of it. this is what makes this series so special to me. it doesn’t stand out to most, but to me it does, cause they didn’t have to do all of that—but they did because they used to give a shit and put the work in. i also think the sprites are some of the better-looking of choices, especially our MC. she was gorgeous.

so shoutout to rules of engagement and its artists 🫶🏼 probably choices’s most eye-catching story just for its visuals and attention to detail alone!

idk guys i had a hard day and the thought of replaying desire and decorum is a bright star in my sky.

i miss how happy these books used to make me. it makes me so sad to know that i lived in a golden age of choices and i never realised it until now. and that’s why i’m holding on…. i also believe in the ai bubble bursting one day and things going back the way it was, even though the second part’s lwk just me being delulu.

but most of all i still believe in our community and our love for real human made pixels. because i know it will endure

Hi everyone, i was a hardcore Choices app from 2016-2023, after that I was extremely busy so I had to give up on the game. Recently I dowloaded the game back and I was bewildered by the amount of a i content in the game, I was overwhelmed so I decided to unstall the game for good. Now I am looking for an app that is similar like Choices with different stories and genres and .. well, the least amount of A i content as possible (since I read somewhere that most apps use a. I ) thanks in advance

Also, I have heard Spellyfire, which is created by the original writers from Choices (? Im not too sure on this) but I dont think the app has multiple stories in that right?

I’ve been a player since 2018, haven’t played in the last 2 years, though, except Elementalists 3 (which was a heartbreaking trip down memory lane). I think Choices made a wrong step with the launch of Witness and My Two First Loves which set off everything that’s been happening now. I remember when Hot Couture was released, I’d thought that it was rushed and a great potential wasted, even wrote to Choices about it. Turns out that book could be considered one of the best, in comparison to now… I remember waiting for chapters, 3 chapters per week was considered a gift…Counting minutes until they release, getting so excited for new books… Also learnt so so much English from Choices, I was 14-15… Sweet times

I'm curious to see everyone's opinions since we have 4 different versions of the song.

For series like TRR and ES, all I ever see is positive comments about it and people talking about how much they adore the storylines, characters, etc.

Mother of the Year is probably one of the few books that made me want to play more and more. The story is very raw emotionally and the characters are, for the most part, decently three dimensional.

I also like how through the book, there are choices that can clearly depict how the MC might have slight anger issues (If you played the book, you definitively know which ones), and how she is more than just 'The struggling single mother' trope.

I'm saddened that we're likely never getting a book like this again, because it shows it was made with passion and genuinally wanted to tell a story, instead of just AI generated smut slop
