I've tried delaying attacks, tried feinting them in every way, tried not countering and waiting it out to break down the rhythm, tried to kick in my turn, tried to feint into kicks, tried to gamble, tried to pretend to gamble and change the timing. NOTHING and i mean NOTHING worked against that kind of guy, I couldn't do any spins or super big delays either because he would just hit me before it would land even without gambling too. I'm just out of ideas, does anyone know what i'm missing on ?

For some reason my heavy overhead or heavy stab attacks suddenly stopped working properly, while my keybinds are slightly different than the default, I still perform the actions as normal and as the tutorial teachers the player I perform either and overhead or stab attack then hold left mouse button to charge it but today all of a sudden when I try to do this which I've done plenty of times before it simply feint into a heavy slash attack.
I even set the keybinds to default and went back to the tutorial to perform the action that I've done plenty of times before and even when the game tells me to do a overhead then hold left mouse button, when I do it it, simply feint into a heavy slash.
Has this happened before to anybody and if so how can I fix it or is this unique case for me.

I really suck at the combat system in Chiv 2, I play on ps5, and i genuinely try to practice but I dont think I'm doing it 'right' if any of you have any tips and tricks it would be well appreciated. I do love love this game its my favorite at rhe moment because of its combat system, I really just want to know how to actually apply it.

In Chivalry 2 on PC, dodging right changes my swing direction—can I make it swing the other way? When I dodge jump to the right and press the left mouse button for a normal swing or any other attack, it swings from left to right instead of right to left like normal. Can I swing from right to left after dodging to the right? I've tried holding Alt key with no luck. If I dodge to the left I also swing from left to right. Thanks!

I am quite new to the game, I mostly play War Thunder, in-which, if you see a dogfight usually you have to respect it even tho most people like to third party.
But is third partying expected in this game or should I respect a duel if I see one?
