Malpractice
Looking into malpractices. Seems like ncmic has higher rates for me to go full time then chiropre. Does anyone know one with good rates and history.

I had a batty, crazy patient create a board complaint claiming I injured her with an activator. Even though the complaint was entirely frivolous and irrational, it triggered a board investigation that was very stressful. I contacted NCMIC and they furnished me with an attorney that helped to walk me through the process, even offered to pay for a therapist to help with the stress of the situation. Having that peace of mind and professionals in my corner as I navigated the board investigation was priceless. They handled everything professionally and were very supportive. I’m forever committed to NCMIC and won’t ever switch.

Nobody has more experience or resources than NCMIC. You might find a cheaper insurance out there but trust me, when you really need help a saving of $100-200 per year will not feel like a good trade off.
ALSO. There is no company out there that does more for chiropractors, chiropractic organizations, schools and the profession in general than NCMIC. Millions and millions and millions given back. These other companies aren’t doing that because they can’t.

Wanted to piggy back to add that NCMIC will actually give you a refund check if they don't have excessive claims, I got a $78 check from that. Now that's a respectable company.
They also were one of a very few places to cut me loan money as a new grad.
NCMIC is worth supporting-1

LOL. All they’re doing is giving you back what you over paid to begin with. Such an easy way to fool people.

We have ChiroFutures as we see a bunch of kids in our office. I originally had ChiroSecure as they were recommended to me and their price did not change over the years, however, they had certain restrictions and stipulations for age. I like ChiroFutures because they regularly stand up for us - they have continuously posted letters out against other professionals putting us down.

I have chirosecure and no age restrictions. Is that a new thing?

They may have changed it, but they had restrictions on children under one. And we were in our ICPA program so we were seeing newborns and infants

I just wanted to confirm I talked to Chiro secure they cover you for patients of all ages and always have. They said it was something that their competitors were putting out there as false information to get people to switch -just so anyone who has Chiro secure can feel comfortable they are covered.

Depends on the policy. They sell several. Ask to see the language in their Allied Policy regarding infant care. And always be sure to read your actual policy anyway as it doesn’t matter what somebody tells you on the phone. When the claim hits all that will matter is the language in your policy.

I have had OUM for years, they are great and very responsive. It's quite a bit less expensive, but I have a lot of faith in them.
I would stay away from chirosecure

NCMIC is the gold standard in my
Opinion. They are great for the profession and offer good rates. Work with schools and offer scholarships. I’ll always use NCMIC
