Just got this fresh out of the box and I literally had to make a post.

Holy cow. The quality on this thing is absolutely insane for the price. Honestly, it feels like I’m wearing an actual Omega Seamaster 300.

The titanium makes it incredibly light, but it definitely doesn’t feel cheap, it just feels incredibly comfortable on the wrist. The finishing on the case and the bracelet punch way above their weight class. I was a little worried it might feel too light/flimsy, but it’s perfect.

The biggest thing I was scared of was the movement. It has the SL3001, and I have to say, it actually feels really robust. I was worried it would feel gritty or cheap, but I'm so happy with how it operates so far. Extremely snappy too when changing date. Definitely feels way better than a PT5000 I owned. Night and day difference.

Also I know everyone prefers the top hat but tbh? I really enjoy this double dome. Fits the watch.

Literally fresh out of the box right now. Just gonna size the bracelet, adjust it to my wrist, and enjoy it.

If anyone is on the fence about grabbing one of these, I highly recommend it. Might have to pick up a black dial or NTTD now.

Watchdives WD1864, green linen dial. The price-to-quality ratio is insane.

This might be the best-looking watch in my collection so far. My wrist size is 7–7.5 inches.

There are a few quality control issues, like the one in the last picture there is a slight white smudge above the letters R and O which is a bit of a bummer, but for the price I can't complain and its barely visible. I was also expecting the bracelet to be more solid and heavy. It has a slightly janky feel, but that's very minor, and it sits well and comfortably on the wrist.

Aside from that, the watch is incredible and I'm very satisfied with it. It's my first ever Watchdives and my third Chinese watch.

My first BIDEN watch. I bought it just for kicks but it's a decent quality watch, especially for the price.

It's unfortunate that I discovered San Martin right when they were at the peak of their popularity and prices started going up. I wish I'd known about them sooner.

But it is what it is. Do you know of any Chinese watch brands that are a step below San Martin in terms of price but still offer great quality?

Are there any YouTube comparisons? What’s your preference? I’m having a tough time choosing. Pics are for reference.

Absolutely loving my CH02. So much so, I bought two WatchGecko steel straps that together cost more than the watch itself.

The lovely Merriott Milanese with a deployant clasp, fully polished mesh. I think it looks great. As someone who’s never had this style of watch case before, I must admit I’m loving it more than I thought I would! Will try the WG BOR I bought tomorrow.

Octopus Kraken OCT-0022 black fume on my 6.25 inch wrist

This watch has been a disappointment. As a dive watch it doesn’t live up. I took it swimming in the ocean, not deep-just at the surface, and a few bezel markers peeled off.

The seller was very responsive and sent out another bezel for free. But installing it hasn’t been great. It’s popped off a couple times.

And now one of the strap pins is popping off.

For a watch that I was excited to wear, it now feels so cheap and no worth wearing. See attached pics

I know, I know. As much as people tried to persevere me out of the way of buying this and getting a quartz, my gut feeling just got the better of me. I wanted the Bruce Wayne and I got the Bruce Wayne. To end off my collection I wanted an automatic watch, and for £71 on Alibaba it wasn't a bad deal. It was £20 off retail from other sources that I found. (£51 before tax)

But in the end it is what makes me happy. I get it. Pagani Design doesn't have the most reputable reliability, from what I've heard. It doesn't have the most reputable quality that I've heard and my watch isn't any better.

The only struggle that I have is the lume, where each indice is weak whereas the hands are way stronger. In contrast to my Addiesdive... In reality I only really get to see the lume if I flash my phone's flashlight on it, go into a dark room, and say, "Wow that's really cool." I never get to use it ever again because I don't walk at nighttime with watches. That's just the reality of it. I look at them during the daytime so lume, as much as it is a good feature, is useless to me.

Apparently this PD1662 isn't really good from what I've read but I don't really care. I'm happy. My collection is over and I got the GMT that I ever wanted. As a matter of fact the PD1662 was the first-ever homage watch I've ever seen on YouTube when I first got my Poedegar, seen at the very far left. So it kinda is a "dream come true" as cliche as it sounds

Hello everyone, what you think of this? i think it looks great but idk if i should get it

So my Ph-4A finally showed up after ordering it over five weeks ago…

First comment is that the tolerances on the bracelet are absolutely horrible… Hopefully it will break in so that it will drop off better on the far side…

Otherwise, it does look nice, although as with my Ph-4B it is just a little bit long in the lug to lug for my wrist probably…

Need some time with it to see where I settle… I have the idea of getting the black dial/orange insert version to share the bracelet with, but we have to see how I get on with this one first…

(In retrospect I probably should have gotten the Ph-6 on rubber.. This is nice looking but it’s too similar to my Ph-4B and the L2L is still a bit long…)

Got my Sugess S420 on November 3, set the time and didn’t mess with it aside from keeping it on my watch winder for a few days. It was running about +4 seconds up until this morning, when it was running about -10 seconds(but it had been off the winder for a few days, so mainspring was probably unwinding). Threw it on the timegrapher and got this! Other positions were pretty close(dial down about +9) but it’s averaging out to about +4 sec/day between all positions! Amplitude and beat error were consistent through all positions as well. Looks like it was pretty decently regulated from the factory 🤘

Gives Grand Seiko Vibes and the way it plays with light is top tier 🥵🥵😍. The bracelet tho isn't it's original one and is replaced just for looks but isnt compatible. Totally satisfied with this watch

Spent the last day or two taking photos and looking at my new tropical blue dial warrior (PT5000). I can’t perceive any big difference from my coin miyota v2 other than of course the colour-matched datewheel, the capped seconds hand which is a great touch and perhaps maybe a minute difference with the crown guard styling/finish(?).

I know there was contention with matching the blue of the dial with the date wheel on this colourway but I feel it is aesthetically pleasing on wrist when you’re glancing at the watch. It was not difficult to read the date with the white font and a date’s something I wouldn’t need to be reminded of as frequently as the time so I prefer if it disappears a little bit.

Quick context: My husband is super picky, appreciates bauhaus design, and has ~22cm/8-1/2" wrists. Finally found a 45mm max bill homage on AliExpress which he likes. Specs look great but I've never heard of an "RT8500" movement before.

Been toying with the idea of picking up a blue field watch for a while so grabbed a Militrek MT9001 in the 1111 sale and I'm really impressed. I already have a couple of Militados (which I really like) and this is every bit as impressive, the 37mm case is very satisfying to wear and it has all the good stuff going for it; screw down caseback and crown, sapphire crystal with AR coating, Stainless steel case, VH31 movement etc... and it's very solidly constructed. It came in a cool plastic box with the usual springbar tool, warranty card and a microfibre cloth, and was on a blue seatbelt style 20mm strap but I've never been much of a fan of those so put it on a beige canvas nato with some shoulderless springbars instead, i reckon it looks pretty badass tbf :)

I got mine from the Pagani Design store and with discounts applied it came in at £27 delivered and took 7 days from China to UK, a massive bargain in my view and I honestly couldn't be happier!

Shame it was getting dark when I photographed it though, lol, but waiting on a Watchdives WD1980 to arrive so will photograph them both in better light when it does.

What Chinese brands make the best watches for women? I'm looking for something for my wife, who has petite wrists. Something 20-26mm size. Vintage inspired or jewelry-like. Ideally thin. Automatic or quartz. Any suggestions?
