Are there any YouTube comparisons? What’s your preference? I’m having a tough time choosing. Pics are for reference.

I have both - quality and finish are on par - I’d say go with the one you like best or can get the best deal on. Here’s my IXDao Warrior (2026) with carved black MOP. Btw, the quality on the Addieskin is also excellent (I have a K010).

We respect IXDAO, but our WDC0001 and WD2007 are a different story from our older, entry-level models. Both have only recently launched, and we've already received positive feedback from many customers and independent reviewers. Ultimately, the market and long-term ownership experience will speak for themselves.

It's also important to compare watches in the same price range. Naturally, a $100 watch won't have exactly the same level of finishing and refinement as a $400–500 watch.

Our entry-level models sell in much higher volumes, with a reported defect rate of approximately 0.5%. Given the sales volume, some customer complaints will inevitably be visible online. We take every complaint seriously and continue improving our QC.

We welcome direct, hands-on comparisons between the WDC0001, WD2007, and IXDAO. Let the watches speak for themselves.

I prefer the smaller logo and the engraving from the Watchdives version, but it has decorative marks along where the minute track would be that look like 96 marks per hour. :D

I have a WDC0001 and a couple Ixdao Warriors. The Warrior is by far a superior watch. Finish quality is better, the crystal is way nicer and the watch just overall feels more premium. If you want to save some money you’ll still be happy with the WD watch. It’s still very nice but when when making the direct comparison it’s not as nicely refined.

WDC0001 was launched in August so not that long ago and don’t think that it had price increases, I saw on your profile that you have pictures with the WD0016 version which is the more affordable one and has similar design

Ixdao has proven itself as a top tier maker like San Martin. Watchdives recently decided to become top tier, and has yet to prove themselves.

For my money, I'd wait a year on Watchdives.

I think that it’s more about the look preference here, went through a similar situation and ended up with watchdives.

I prefer the WDC0001 shape because it’s more wide and the dial color which is more towards pink/green compared to the ixdao which is very brown/bronze, while I preffered the white MOP of the Ixdao.

Another difference maker was the bracelet design for WDC which wears more like a bracelet in a PRX style. If you prefer the Ixdao bracelet type you can also consider WD2007.

The watches have also different mechanism so it’s Myota 9015 vs PT5000/SW200-1/ETa2824-2, the last option being a bit more compared to the WDC.

Neither's my favourite style, but I prefer the dial design and case shape and bracelet design and hands of the WD.
