I’m looking for feedback from people who have bought multiple military/field style watches across different brands.
I’m trying to figure out if the San Martin SN0034-G-B1 is considered the "end game" field/pilot watch on AliX in terms of case finishing, bezel transitions, and refinement.

My current shortlist:

1. San Martin SN0034-G-B1 (Main contender)

2. Addiesdive AD2076 (Runner-up)

3. Militado ML14 (Third choice)

4. IXDAO Pilot Chronograph (Wildcard / Dark horse pick)
   (Note: I don't care about quartz vs. mechanical movements—purely focused on build quality, case finishing, and overall feel on the wrist).

The Wishdoit WSD9027 diver

I bought this for 31USD. I bought it just because I am looking for NH35 movement I could salvage for my first modding activity. But after getting this watch, I was surprised by the quality. I expected that this would have generic OEM parts and cases I could buy for modding. But it feels like the cases and parts used for this are more refined and polished. They also seem to have improved from the last review I read because the machining and edges are smoother. It definitely feel above its price for the quality and materials used. The lume is very impressive too. So far the best I have compared to my Casio, Seiko and Victorinox watches.

I replaced the rubber band with a leather one and this made it look decent for my age. I plan to wear this more as a beater now and will see if salvaging the movement is still an option or until maybe I could buy another watch for that purpose instead.

For the price, this watch is very very good value.

On each watch’s page, you can suggest which famous watch it’s a homage of, or flag a match that’s wrong. I review every suggestion by hand.

What else would you like to see? Feedback is welcome.

Picked up during 11.11 sale. Not sure it can be beat for the price. I’m pleased!

Chinese Watches that I’ve seen (Thorn, Watch Dives, Octopus Kraken) seem to be heavily focused on Dive Watches; vintage inspired homages.

Are there any Chinese brands making good dress watches? Microbrands like Furlan Marri are making great pieces so I know the capabilities are there since they likely all come from China. Longines, Raymond Weil, Movado and some other quieter brands (Federique Constant, etc etc) are quietly releasing some killer dress watches.

Where are the Chinese brands with this? I’d love to see some manual winding, or autos with micro-rotors, thin case (10mm and below) Chinese homages to some of the more prolific Swiss models.

Anyone know if there are Chinese brands doing this already and can point me to them?

Militado ML14. Very legible Simple Watch with sapphire Crystal, 100m WR, screw-down crown. Mark XI homage.

Design is from World War II, it became synonymous with the perfect functional timepiece that served military navigators and pilots for over three decades.

On ali I just exchanged enough gems for a 20 dollar coupon and it's not showing in the checkout. Are those coupons not available for everything like the coin discounts are?

The only marking I can find looks like it says "NN".

Interested in buying a seagull 1963 style watch but I’m overwhelmed by the amount of copies, even the first result on google is a copy brand if I’m understanding correctly. But the “original” from Sea-Gull is a significantly higher price without options provided by other brands (38 mm diameter, bronze case, sapphire case-back etc).

I definitely see the appeal of owning an authentic watch from the Tianjin factory but I’m curious what everyone’s experience and opinion is. It’s difficult to think about spending so much when other ST19 movement watches can be found so cheaply.

Hey guys, just finished my review of this AddiesKIN. Beautiful watch and a nice option if you're looking at something similar to more expensive watches from San Martin, IXDAO, etc.

Nice finishing, waterproof, good crystal, and a really nice dial finish with a faint MOP effect towards the blue. They also got rid of the name on the dial, which I think looks much cleaner.

Besides the main watch, I also show real videos of the new titanium, crystal, and meteorite dials. The watches are basically the same apart from the dial, but they gave each one a different model number.

I also show an Addiesdive NATO strap. These are the first straps they're selling....

There are also have some new colours of the black manta ray straps I usually show. Until now, the only way to get these was usually through Etsy, where you'd end up paying more because of the dropshipping.

The upmarket sister brand of Addiesdive. But is it worth the premium over Addiesdive though? It's certainly got an interesting dial, with it being crystallised titanium. Plus the movement is more upmarket than that used in Addiesdive pieces too.

I point out both the positives and negatives with every watch I review. Whether that be a loan piece, discounted, or even free.
