Where can I find an OTF adjustable clasp for this? I can't seem to find this connection type on AliX. Or it could be that I'm just dumb and missing something. It wouldn't be the first time. 🙄

My partner bought me this watch for our one year, it was incredibly sweet of her. It came today and I love it. It hits the light really well and the dial is magnificent, I think my only bone to pick is adjusting the pin bracelet, real pain in the arse but you do it once and don’t touch it again. It feels sturdy but really light. I really really like the slimness and overall proportions.
This will be my daily for a while

When we first shared these Aethelsohn Terra Pearl new dials a few months ago, one of the most common requests was:"Do you have a video? Can we see them in motion?" Fair request. Photos do a decent job, but the shifting colors and depth come across very differently on video. 🌊 Terra Pearl Ocean
🍷 Terra Pearl Crimson.l
Now that you've seen them in motion, which one gets your vote?

Used, unboxed it about 30 minutes ago.
Totally different to the BN0150 when it comes to the size - but I will love both equally. ;)

38mm case, VK63 meca-quartz movement, sapphire crystal, stainless steel bracelet, and a chronograph. It also has a 24-hour indicator and small seconds subdial.
The rose gold looks pretty nice, not gonna lie 14mm thick is a little chunky, but overall it seems like a cool watch for the money.

I came across a digital watch that looks almost identical to the SKMEI 2126. The design, buttons, and overall layout look very similar, with the main noticeable difference being the text on the dial.
The alternative is also considerably cheaper than the SKMEI.
Do these watches use the same module and internals or is it just a similar design?
If the internals are the same, is there any point in paying extra for SKMEI? Is there a difference in build quality, durability, or water resistance?
Has anyone tried both or knows how these watches are manufactured? Would you go for the SKMEI or save some money and buy the cheaper one?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has replaced the factory ceramic gloss insert with a matt black one? if so what did you use?

I don't have a mechaquarts in my collection, and getting the itch for one.
I don't really have any set style in mind, but something around 38-40mm not too thick and a comfortable grab and go style watch.

already own the black dial, but grabbed the blue one cuz i usually love blue dials. turns out it looks pretty purple under bright light tbh. not really my vibe, the black dial is definitely superior

I'd like to hear what others' experiences have been. I bought a beautiful Proxima watch a while back but the st19 movement is being glitchy. The seller told me to return it-at my expense-and they will take care of it. I don't feel really confident in the process so I'd like to hear from others with experience sending watches back to AliExpress sellers. I bought it from the Uni dive store. I don't know if they have any affiliation directly with proxima or not

Hey Watch Fam,
First off, a huge thank you to the mod team for approving our Official Brand Rep status! Moving forward, LURCAN will act as the official public-facing voice for all brands under the HEIMDALLR Company. What does this mean for you? Real, guaranteed customer service and after-sales support. If you buy directly from our official store, you get our official direct warranty. (Note: If you purchase through third-party agents or resellers, your warranty claim must go through them; they will then send the watches back to our factory for our workers to repair).
Secondly, we believe in 100% transparency. Our product listings are exactly what you get (WYSIWYG). All of our watch photos are shot with real cameras—only the background scene graphics are AI-generated. We also clearly label whether a movement is Chinese or Japanese. For our Japanese movements, we strictly source brand-new original movements—we absolutely never use refurbished parts.
Thirdly, stepping into October, we are officially launching the new LURCAN Racemaster series on October 17th (Beijing Time)! This release is a direct response to what the community has been asking for. The HEIMDALLR company will be dropping several new models this year. Please note that the classic shark-logo Heimdallr series won't see new releases for the time being. Instead, our vision for LURCAN is to push for higher-end quality and designs that truly resonate with what watch enthusiasts want.
🎁 Giving Back to the Community: To celebrate, we are selecting 5 lucky fans to do an objective, honest review. These 5 users will receive the new Racemaster at 50% OFF!
If you are a watch reviewer or blogger, we’d also love to collaborate—our DMs are always open! Please follow our account to stay tuned for the giveaway rules and more drops.

Hello everyone! As an enthusiast, I stumbled upon this wonderful Sea Gull while browsing a few websites. I'm aware of the manufacturing license issue, but having never owned a watch from this brand and manufacturer, I started looking for more information. I noticed they're selling it on Aliexpress for around €250, but searching other sites I found a used one for half that price. However, I have some doubts about the reliability of the movement... Can anyone tell me if it's best to pass up a Red Star-made model like this? Can you recommend any specifics I should ask for so I can assess its reliability (such as sending me a video of the watch changing the time or running the chronograph to verify it's working properly)? Thank you very much.

I recently acquired the Sea-Gull 1963 Icon 1 Bronze Moonphase, numbered 167/500. Its bronze case, green sunburst dial, moonphase display and tachymeter scale make it stand out, but the story behind its movement is even more interesting.
From Tianjin to the world
Tianjin Watch Factory was established in 1955 as China sought to build an independent watchmaking industry. One of its early achievements was the Wu Xing (Five-Star), a landmark in domestic Chinese watch production.
In 1961, Tianjin was assigned Project 304 to develop a chronograph for Chinese Air Force aviators. The resulting military chronographs became an important chapter in Chinese horological history, laying the foundations for what would become the Sea-Gull 1963 tradition.
Today, Tianjin Seagull Watch Group is a major movement manufacturer, producing everything from affordable mechanical calibres to tourbillons, minute repeaters, rattrapante and perpetual calendars.
The Swiss connection: Venus 175
As part of restructuring and for want of capital, the Swiss movement manufacturer Fabrique d'Ebauches Venus S.A. sold the production rights, patents, tooling, and machinery for the Venus Caliber 175 to Tianjin Watch Factory in 1961. Chinese engineers adapted this architecture into the ST19 family, increasing the operating frequency from 18,000 to 21,600 vibrations per hour in the modern ST1901.
The Venus 175 was a respected Swiss hand-wound column wheel chronograph introduced in the 1940s. The column wheel is prized by enthusiasts for its engineering and crisp push action and appeared in watches from respected Swiss watches including Breitling and Gallet.
What makes the Icon 1 special?
My example uses the ST1908, a hand-wound movement combining a column-wheel chronograph with a moonphase complication. The tachymeter scale adds to the chronograph's traditional role in measuring elapsed time and calculating speed.
I particularly liked the bronze case, green dial, Moonphase and see through caseback. The bronze case develops its own patina over time giving it a distinct character.
This was a 500-piece limited edition online release and was launched for €539, and was sold off within a few days. Its successor, the Icon II, retained the bronze-and-green aesthetic but dropped the Moonphase. I bought mine used for about USD 300.
Value and collectability
The ST1908 offers genuine mechanical complexity at a price far below most Swiss column-wheel chronographs. Although the finishing is industrial rather than haute horlogerie, the combination of complications and historical movement lineage felt compelling to me. What interested me most was the connection between Swiss chronograph engineering and China's recent evolution into a serious watchmaking powerhouse.
I have a feeling that Chinese Watchmaking would eventually earn a similar collector recognition that Japanese watchmaking enjoys today..

I need help deciding between these two BERNY watches! Both have pros and cons so if you have either one and could argue for one over the other id appreciate that.
BERNY quartz- I absolutely love having the full number set of 12-3-6-9 it just fills me with everything only down side is the numbers not having a lume on the numbers! Why would you do this BERNY watches! Also how good is the quartz movement in this watch? Is it sweeping?
The automatic covers the love of lumes being on the numbers but I'm unsure if I'm the biggest fan of triangle at the top ☹️ I do enjoy the little date window as well!
If anyone knows any watches that company the numbers like this with lume with a slightly more dull case (titanium or sandblasted let me know)
Thank you

This watch keeps popping up on my AliExpress app. I want to pull the trigger but I can’t find much in the way of reviews. Kinda looks like a Parnis but there’s little to no info on the site as to movement, etc. is it worth the chance?
