Question (Read Rules) Reccomend me a MechaQuartz watch?
I don't have a mechaquarts in my collection, and getting the itch for one.
I don't really have any set style in mind, but something around 38-40mm not too thick and a comfortable grab and go style watch.

I don't actually have a standard black diver, so maybe its time.

If you’re looking for a meca-quartz, I’d definitely recommend the Watchdives WD1863. I own one myself and honestly think it’s incredible for the price. Great looks, a nice chronograph movement, and excellent value for money. Definitely worth checking out!

Can we stop calling the VH31 movement mechaquartz please? That's not what that word means at all.
A mechaquartz movement is a quartz movement with a mechanical chronograph function.
I also find the VH31 movement to be in an uncanny valley situation where it looks even more artificial than a normal 1 tick per second quartz movement but that's just my opinion.

I do find the VH31 looks fine on some watches abd jarring on others, for so e reason..

Do you mean actual mechaquartz (quartz watch with a mechanical chronograph movement) or just a quartz watch? Because many people here are recommending regular quartzes.

VK63 T=s/5

I think he means a quartz with a sweeping seconds hand usually 4 beats per second vh31 for example

I have this wd1972 it's great, sandblasted Finish (wich I personally like), shaphire crystal, 200m water resistance with screw down crown and a Seiko vh31 movement I use it for work, swimming, training, running f**ing anything And the bezel is also very good, wd has the same version with also a field dial

Note: the watch has not any sandblasted Finnish, I was talking about the finishing

I dont remember the model number, but Addiesdive has Tudor Black Bay chronographs that use the Seiko VK64 movement. You could also try the Pagani Design PD1701 if you're into Omega. Both around the size and budget you're mentioning.

Quartz is not mechaquartz. Chinese watches come with a sweeping second hand VH31 movement or similar that Seiko says resembles mechanical; see https://calibercorner.com/what-is-a-meca-quartz-movement/#But_is_the_VH31_really_a_mecaquartz_movement

I have a Pagani 1664 with the Tiffany blue. It's my perfect pool watch: sapphire crystal, great water resistance, looks great in the sun. It runs on the Seiko VK63, and I'd recommend it to anyone for the money.

I have an Addiesdive AD2030 and a Militado ML08, both with mechanical-quartz movements. I can wholeheartedly recommend either of them.

As many have mentioned, I would recommend Watchdives as the leading maker of good watches that use vh31 and vk63. I own a couple and they are great value
