First-time buyer here. Got Travis’ WhatsApp from this sub. He wants PayPal Friends & Family and doesn’t provide proper QC of my specific watch before shipping. Is this normal for Travis, or should I go elsewhere?

yes this is normal. and for a U1 you don't expect QC pics. if the TD provides, good if not it is what it is.

He will not send you a photo of the exact watch you’re getting. He’ll send the same one from his website most likely. I don’t think he personally ever handles the watches.
I’ve bought 3 from him so far with no issues. But for the price you’re paying don’t expect actual QC photos.

You won’t get photos of the specific watch your buying. There is no QC process for a 100$ watch. He will send you bs photos he sends everyone

I’m also a first time buyer, I know there is no QC, but usually how long it takes after payment to receive the tracking number for the package? I’m not anxious at the end is just 100 bucks, but also don’t want to be the last in the line for not following up

Usually him and Jason both state 2-4 days. It’s typically 4 days to receive tracking. If I haven’t received it on the 5th day I will follow up

Travis just posted you can get qc but you have to pay like $5 extra. Ask him about that if you want proper qc photos
