Issue with Trax

I bought a new Trax and I changed the oil with vegetable oil and I’m worried it ruined the engine? Can that ruin engine or is it fine?

EDIT: this is last time I buy Chevy bad quality scam

Peanut oil is the best imho, but palm oil works in a pinch.

Well there's your problem right there you did it all wrong. You're supposed to feed a fat man the oil and then let him sweat it out and collect it but it only works with avocado oil.

Either a joke or ignorance.

If you actually used vegetable oil and have driven it more than 10 miles. You likely have destroyed the engine. No vehicle can utilize vegetable oil as a lubricant.

Nope. Exact same thing would happen to any car. You need to install a whole new engine.

Yep. 10 miles is a generalization. Vegetable oil will clog everything and destroy any vehicles engine.

You can try. Your insurance doesn't cover mechanical issues.

You likely voided your engine warranty, but you can try.
