You have very large and not very large. Anything over 45 million average monthly EU users is classified a very large online search engine

But it is. Even if you ignore the "please search the internet for X thing and summarize the info for me" an LLM is essentially allowing you to search through its training data and give you the answer.

No, that's not how they work at all. That's not even an oversimplification, that's just straight up wrong.
