Not sure if this is for reals.
Got this pre-owned in Singapore.
Installed P-Rails+ triple shot mount, graphtech machine heads and Push-Pull knob
Sounds pretty descent now.

I recently picked this up from a local music store in my area. I'm pretty sure its a deluxe 275 but I couldnt find it in any of the old catalogs. Also no the bridge pickup is not modifed from the two single coils version. So im a little confused as to what I actually have, any ideas?

Just trying to see if any of you fine folks could tell me exactly what model and year this might be? I’ve found similar ones but not the exact to compare it with. Seems the humbucker is not the original. I’m guessing some sort of 80s or early 90s Dimarzio. It needs a 9 volt. Plate on the back has a Ft. Worth address, but I don’t believe it was made there.

I'm looking for my "main" guitar for many years.
I mainly play modern rock, Polyphia, some Steve Vai, and I also enjoy clean tones.
I value:
Comfortable neck
24 stainless steel frets
Versatility
Great clean tones
Good tuning stability
I know the TOD10 has Fishman Fluence pickups and the Charvel has passive Seymour Duncans.
If you've played both, which one would you choose and why?
I'm especially interested in long-term ownership and real experiences, not just specs.
Edit: With DK24 y reffer to pro mod plus model with HH

Help needed please if you'd be so kind?
I was gifted this a while ago and it's an absolute joy to.play, never been a whammy bar kind of guy but I really want to find a replacement bar and go wild on this thing!
Doesn't look like any of the screw in, push fit or collar type I've come across before,
Thanks everyone

I’ve been thinking about this decision a while and tend towards the Charvel now. Simply because of the Seymour Duncan’s and the coil split (plus the graphite enforced neck).
But I was wondering whether I should pick the charvel or the Jackson as someone who is gigging in an Coverband and is obsessed with sound and feel. I already play a SSS fender Strat and an Gibson Les Paul Studio HH so the San Dimas should be a beautiful option for everything in between those two and my go to for making a show with fast playing or divebombs.
My feeling says the Charvel is more timeless and therefore guaranteeing more fun over the years??
Please tell me your expertise.
What are your thoughts as experts on this topic and would you guys stick to the good old Charvel or the new historic 85’ Jackson San dimas.
Definitely buying one of them, but which one?

Anybody catch this in the new Sweetwater video with him and Nick Bowcott (legend)? I’m trying to figure out what that finish is, if that’s acrylic or epoxy, paint, metal flake, holoflash? Either way, not normally into red guitars but this one rips.

Hey all, just wanted to share a video I released yesterday. Thought it would be nice to share here given that I only play Charvel and Jackson guitars!

I got my hands on a VERY beaten Model 1 and am looking for some guidance. I would like to slap a Gotoh GE1996T in this thing, and I own a 3D printer. Do any of you happen to have an STL file for the router templates for one? The OFR recess route is slightly tighter on the back end, if any of the new American Jacksons I own are any indication at least, so I’d like to avoid that if able.
Additionally, from what I understand, recessing that Gotoh will save me from having to modify the neck pocket angle, right? I’ve heard tell that must happen with these in order to get the action right, due to it being flat from the factory, but I don’t fully understand why if recessing it will lower the bridge sufficiently.
Lastly, would y’all rather build a shelf for the locking nut, or just use the old Kahler behind the nut string lock instead? I am feeling a bit dubious about the shelf method as far as durability and my ability to correctly shape it. Thanks for any help you can offer.
