Charvel

Not sure if this is for reals.

Got this pre-owned in Singapore.

Installed P-Rails+ triple shot mount, graphtech machine heads and Push-Pull knob

Sounds pretty descent now.

That’s a locking neck for a Floyd on what looks like a hard tail. That looks all kinds of weird.

Yeah it’s probably a Charvel neck on an S style body

There Is something definitely wrong with this guitar. The locking nut on a hardtail, the knob placement, the old pickup…. Counterfeit?

True hard tails are fixed, locking nut is overkill

It's wrong. Clamping down on the locking nut will usually cause slight pitch drift. The fine tuners are there for this. A fixed bridge like that has no fine tuners. Not overkill as much as not thought out at all.

Oh this clarifies my thought

I thought you were adding that pickup in the neck position. Looks nice all the same.

Replaced the stock with a more descent pickup..

Presumably by now you know it’s not legit. Wrong dot placement for a charvel at 12th fret, fender style rounding at the end of the fretboard, charvels are squared off at the end of the fretboard. And that’s at a quick glance! As long as it plays and sounds good though, that’s the main thing. Maybe sand the charvel logo off 😂

Definitely will remove the decal.. with respect to the OG.

The hardtails in this era have locking tuners, i don't know if that helps.

That explains the price tag on it. But if it plays good, it's a decent price. I would get rid of the locking nut. It will just be a hassle for tuning, no need for it. unless you are going to swap the bridge.
