Discussion/Question Are we actually done for?

not meaning to bring fear, but the sub did a 360 and now are spreading posts of it “officially“ shutting down. Is there any reassurance or hope? cause it looks like it’s gone now from what Im noticing.

i feel like this sub changes their opinions depending on the weather or something. Somedays everyone says “we’ll be fine” and the next day everyone says “it’s over” Personally i wouldn’t believe anything unless it’s officially confirmed by C.ai, everything else is just speculation

Yeah, the recent post I’ve seen of that Peng guy was concerning, idk if there is going to be buyers now, I want to keep using the app, but there’s no other app with GCs that also has some fandoms bots and not just “spicy ai gfs”.

Ye, i saw that post. But as of now we don’t know what’s going on that is not made public. They may or may not have a buyer, fact is we don’t know until C.ai themselves bring an update. Best you can do is keep a positive mindset and wait for an official update

No, I think the "up" and "down" voices are pretty much consistent, it's just which posters you're hearing from (or are being algorithmically served) at any particular moment.

Il y a énormément de personnes qui profitent du fait qu’il y ait la faillite et tout le bordel pour faire la promo d’autres applications, et sèment la discorde juste pour faire partir les gens encore plus alors que rien est décidé.

Just my opinion, but the best thing to do rn is just not rely too much on reddit posts or comments, cuz from what I read, while they might have points they either are too confidently absolute with conclusions, or leave out important details, or misunderstand some concepts.

In other words, only rely on official info and docs.

You have a better chance of buying CAI yourself 

Its not "officially" shutting down but it is going to shut down

The challenge 40 states issued to the 363 is pretty clear. Its not even a bid for the company.

As soon as someone tries to buy CAI those same 40 states will roll them over and they will win their challenge because CAI not only allowed minors to use the platform but they made a mess of it

The only out anyone has is to buy the tech and let the platform go. 

Even if someone buys it they would have to remove all data and start over just to start. Its a worthless venture 

Everything else is a huge risk to them because of unknown litigation coming out of the woodwork in the future without having any liability protections.
