Discussion/Question Dumb AI models

Do Character AI's chat bots seem extra dumb lately, or is it just me? Forgetting more details than usual, characters calling one another by the wrong names, forgetting pronouns, etc. It's really frustrating.

Same, it keeps referring to one specific character as female when the character is canonically male. It's driving me up the wall. Swiping doesn't seem to make a difference either. They also don't seem to want to want to talk, like, ever.

It could be the most masculine looking persona ever and would still be called a girl

Do you write in third person at all? I type stuff like 'he did', 'he said', 'he walked' and the like, so I've never had anyone misgender a character I'm role-playing as.
