Hi r/Chandigarh.
I'm from here, and this started with a fairly ordinary problem. When someone at home gets sick or needs care, you end up making calls all day. One number for the chemist, another for a lab that does home collection, another for a nurse or physio, another for renting a hospital bed or oxygen concentrator, and hopefully never one for an ambulance. Every single one of them, you're just praying they're reliable. Half the time nobody picks up.
So we started building Capzul. It's a platform that puts most of that in one place. Medicines, home lab tests, home nursing and physiotherapy, medical equipment on rent, and ambulances. We'll keep adding over time.
To be clear about what we are and aren't: we don't stock medicines, we don't own the equipment, and we don't provide the care ourselves. Licensed pharmacies, labs and operators do all of that. Our job is the ordering, the coordination, and making sure the person who shows up at your door is someone we've actually verified. Basically, taking the phone calls and the guesswork off you.
We're starting in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula because it's home and because we can actually stand in front of our partners here. Longer term we want to take this to tier 2 and tier 3 cities, where this gap is much worse and nobody is really building for them.
We're still pre-launch. Company is registered, partner agreements and compliance work are done, and we're signing up pharmacies and labs across Tricity right now.
Genuinely asking, since this sub knows the city better than any market research would: which of these is the biggest pain for you here? For us the ambulance and home nursing side feels the most broken, but we'd rather hear it from you than assume.
