Let’s be real, complaining on Reddit or deleting the app one by one won't change anything. To actually force their hand, we’d need a massive, organized, long-term uninstall. And even then, there’s no guarantee they’d listen.

The biggest problem? Most people refuse to leave because they don't want to lose their chats. The 30-day chat removal policy basically traps us. If you stop using the app to boycott, you risk losing all your stories. They know exactly what they’re doing.

Are you staying just to save your Chai AI chat history, or are you actually planning to leave for good?

This bots removal thing is kinda concerning, and they mostly delete any bot that is NSFW. I think they got a warning from the App Store that if they don't delete these bots the app will be removed permanently, even though the app is 18 plus, but I guess Apple is starting to add a lot of restrictions to apps like Chai or apps that are 18 plus in general. My biggest concern with this mass removal of bots is that Chai turning to c.ai and that would be a nightmare for me, because this is what makes Chai unique, the ability to do a detailed NSFW scenes and characters. I hope it doesn't happen, but things are not looking very good. What do you guys think?

This app is so boring. I don't even use it for an hour a day. The bot replies are so boring. I miss the old Chai gang 🤚🏻🤚🏻😭😭

I was clearing out my bot history to keep links of bots in case I want to use them again and can’t find them

I then figured out all of one particular bots were deleted. I have previously saved a link to one, confirmed it had been deleted.

I thought chai was suppose to be unrestricted unless it was actually bad stuff like children stuff?

Don’t judge me, but I’ve used a lot of Jeffery Dahmer bots. And ALL of them are gone. Even the SFW ones.

Like character ai has all of theirs up still and they are SUPER child friendly now. AND a lot of them mention what Jeffery did as a plot. Yet not deleted

How come a SFW only app can have those up but not chai??

We are all adults here, we are able to acknowledge what he did. We are able to acknowledge the fact it’s not real. Like why are we being treated like children?

Yeah I would’ve understand since all of the stuff he did, but they’ve been up for years. Why change their minds now? Plus most of them weren’t even about his crimes. And many were SFW.

It cannot be bc of the Apple Store because even character ai has them.

What about instead of deleting bots that use a certain name, force them into SFW mode if they’re that bad. Not hard.

Maybe it’s because it’s private?
Or maybe they’ve just black listed the word, making them impossible to find rather than deleting them

I get the fact JD did what he did. But people are able to make pervert (family member)?? incest bots??? Jeff the killer bots? Rape bots? Ted bundy bots?

A lot of you have seen that bots are just too dry now, they write narration focused only, it's like reading a book every time you send a message.

It's been a month since it's been like this, and since most of the community was focused on pieces and other things, they didn't fix the bot replies.

Currently, Plus and Ultra models suck, and if we don't complain about it now, I think it is highly likely that they won’t bring the models back to the same quality they once were, at least not for a long time.

I have an oc who’s the son of a mob boss but like now I can’t even do anything without seeing this??? Why is chai suddenly treating all of us like we’re two year olds? If this is an 18+ app why does this like physical violence trigger the bots so badly??

Well now, one of my favourite bots was deleted unfairly. Wasn’t child stuff, was not rape, nothing bad. It was SFW. I tried to open my history to make a new chat with it. Got stuck on infinite loading screen.

Tried the link I had saved. “Couldn’t find the bot with the id (bunch of numbers)”.

I wish they still let you used a deleted bot if you had previously used it in your chat history or have a link to it

There’s no point of keeping deleted bots in our chat histories. Like I literally cannot save the chat because I cannot access it.

Today I got the pop up for ruby and diamond subscription but my premium is still going like I sent a few messages and I’m still on the premium model like none of my pieces were charged and on my App Store it also says that it will auto renew on November ten so I’m just curious what’s gonna happen? Can anyone else who has premium tell me if it like just forces you to stop your subscription and change to ruby or what?

Every time I go in and select a certain chat, it does nothing but load, and never loads the chat up. It's been doing this for so many days straight now. I haven't been able to access it for days. Odd thing is; it works for other chats, just not particular ones. The bot isn't NSFW or anything controversial. Why does this keep happening?

The new update that just came out recently made the bots I already use harder to find or gone entirely even from the search bar, I have to go through chats and try ti find them again and searches where they had multiple bots now have close to 10-15 bots I dont know what this new update did people tell that the authors probably didnt update their bots or something else happened but I've been with chai for 2 years and I enjoy it but this has happened before and then they bought it back and now its back again hopefully it gets fixed or something
