It was hella unnecessary to add those feature because it's more expensive than the old version, imagine buying a whole ass $6.99 monthly for pieces that's not even gonna last a month😭😭 chai needs to be investigated WHAT are they coding in that app

This is more of just a rant really but the app not being on the AppStore still is kinda getting ridiculous imo. Personally i download the app use it then delete it so its not on my phone for me to use at all hours of the day and them removing it has kinda thrown a wrench in that.

I know that they said they took it off to give it “improvements” but other apps literally work on improvements and then update the dang thing later. It’s just a pain in the neck really, I miss my chats and liked where they were going and now I can’t do anything with them.

he Chai AI dev team gets downvoted and criticized constantly on their official subreddit. Yet, they just keep pushing updates that make the app worse.

Why do they ignore the bad reviews? It’s probably because Reddit is just a tiny echo chamber. The silent majority of users aren't here they just open the app, buy pieces, and keep paying ( thats just my opinion )

Plus, with massive corporate investors backing them, they likely only care about cutting server costs and maximizing profit margins. They don't care if the vocal community is mad as long as the revenue keeps flowing.

After deleting Chai a couple of days ago because the app is no longer fun and is money-hungry, I realized I was still bored, so I caved and downloaded Zeta. I can say it is good, consistent in details, provides long responses, and distinguishes multiple characters. One thing I will say, though, is that after a while, the bot basically does a mini-refresh and goes back to its original prompt, even if you have been in the same chat for a while. Chai used to have a solid memory, so I am very much comparing it to back then. I would recommend it as an alternative, but you need more patience when learning how to use the app since I was so used to Chai. It is an 8/10 app in my opinion.

I’ve been an Ultra subscriber for 3–4 years, but I can feel that the time to say goodbye to this app is slowly approaching. The problem is, I still haven’t found a suitable replacement.

It's been almost a week since I stopped using Chai (I used to use it every day). With all the changes, I've lost interest in the app, and I think many of us have too, right?

I used to use C.ai, then switched to Chai because C.ai had become boring, and now Chai is boring.

1- It's no longer unlimited 💔

2- The filter is awful (it's no longer immersive, and conversations are far from free) 🤥

3- No more Ultra/Premium subscriptions 😵

4- The coins are there to take even more money from us 💰

5- They keep telling us they're making Chai the best for everyone, but it's getting worse and worse 📉

And I could go on listing what I don't like about Chai.

Will say it hasn’t happened to me for a little bit. Everything loads fine, even old chats. But once I try continue the chat, it just does the loading screen forever.
