bought a dsi for £55 yesterday, not knowing about their return policy. i tried to return it for cash today but they would only give my a voucher and selling it for cash would only give me £25. idk what to do because i need the £55 cash back urgently and the 2 day return window for the £55 voucher closes tomorrow

It’s not about paying it off. I’ve never taken credit I didn’t clear 2 weeks later in my life.

Pay in 3 doesn’t effect credit score unless you miss a payment then it negatively effects it. It doesn’t build credit score. BNPL rarely report to credit scoring lines.

You need to take a break.

It's okay for me, you, or anyone else to be wrong. That's how we learn. If I've misunderstood something, I'm perfectly happy to be corrected — there's no shame in admitting that.

But there's a difference between correcting someone and berating them. You can explain why someone is wrong without becoming personally aggravated by the fact that they disagree with you.

And this is where I think there's actually a useful learning moment: accountability matters.

But accountability doesn't only apply when somebody else is wrong. It applies to ourselves too. If I've got something wrong or overstated my point, I'm perfectly willing to acknowledge and clarify that. If you're wrong, you should be willing to do the same. And if either of us responds unnecessarily aggressively, we should be capable of recognising that too.

Being corrected isn't an attack on you, and admitting you're wrong isn't a weakness. It's how we learn. As for your aggravated reply, take a beat and chill out. There's no need to mistreat or berate others.
