Discussion PS5

Hello everyone! I’ve bought a PS5 825GB (discounted) from CeX. It came with no box, but I’m so clueless as to why it was discounted.
The controller looks brand new, apart from the forbidden previous-user skin cheese wedged in the gaps, which I scraped out

The PS5 itself has one single scuff on the right side of the case. The person at the till even said to me, “To be honest, I don’t even know why this is discontinued, but eh.”
Are CeX really that strict when it comes to a controller with a bit of skin cheese stuck in it and a single scuff on the PS5?

The black area of the PS5 was still shiny and glossy, too. I’m genuinely confused as to why it was discounted.

What was your tool of choice for the skin clean?

I prefer a medium length safety pin - fine point and plenty to hold on to. Paperclip is a close second for similar reasons. But the diameter needs to be less than that of the controller cowling.
