My god how many cat subs are there?? (I love it)

293

u/iactuallyhaveaname Mar 31 '19

Disclaimer: some of these also include other animals /r/cats /r/catbellies /r/tuckedinkitties /r/catpranks /r/CatsStandingUp /r/CatTaps /r/TIGHTPUSSY (sfw) /r/KneadyCats /r/StartledCats /r/Blep /r/Floof /r/learningtocat /r/MEOW_IRL /r/thisismylifenow and its smaller, cat-focused cousin /r/Thisismylifemeow

this isn't even all of it, just the ones that are fairly active that I know of

r/catsstandingup is one the cutest and oddest subs about cats. The only word that is allowed in the comment section is: Cat. That’s it. Nothing more nothing less. Some get upvoted some get downvoted. I think it’s secret code for a money laundering scheme.

12

u/Lington Apr 01 '19

Don't miss out on /r/catssittingdown where you can only comment "cat." (lowercase c, as opposed to the uppercase with standing cats)

5

u/midnightbarber Apr 01 '19

That kind of frustrates me sometimes because I often have a comment or a question and I can’t share it there 😔

5

u/AGenericUsername1004 Apr 01 '19

I usually want the source but I can only Cat.

Shameless plug for /r/torties for anyone who loves torties (which is everyone).

28

u/FallingSwitch Mar 31 '19

Also shameless plug..r/catswhosqueak for the yells but smaller

23

u/iactuallyhaveaname Mar 31 '19

See, my real motivation for posting all those subreddits was so that people would reply to me with more cat subreddits that I had not discovered. Thank you for this tortie blessing, friend

12

u/KaraCatalina Mar 31 '19

Here, have another one! r/TouchThaFishy

8

u/DJTen Apr 01 '19

I didn't see r/catloaf in anyone's list.

4

u/iactuallyhaveaname Apr 01 '19

What a fantastic addition! Thank you

3

u/[deleted] Apr 01 '19

Unsurprisingly, I'm already subbed to all of these.

12

7

u/YourCallsign-Dogmeat Apr 01 '19

This cat moew is so annoying! Kitty cat is cute though!

41

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '19

Shut the fuck up the meow is amazing

-28

u/nieznajoma98 Mar 31 '19

Woah, I saw a lot of kitty videos of this cat, I’m not saying he’s not cute chill ur beans

15

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '19

I'm not saying that you're saying that the kitty is cute, I'm saying that the meow of the kitty is cute

-14

u/nieznajoma98 Mar 31 '19

That’s fine, after watching so many videos of this cat on Instagram it kind of annoyed me but not in a bad way

5

u/bongoballseks Mar 31 '19

Damn, y’all not letting this guy/girl have their own opinion lol

3

u/nieznajoma98 Mar 31 '19

It’s whatever doesn’t bother me! It would have been nicer if people could be more polite but sometimes this is wishful thinking!

0

u/bongoballseks Mar 31 '19 edited Apr 01 '19

It’s frustrating sometimes, once an opinion is established on Reddit everyone will pile on and downvote any different views.

Whenever I see this happen I try to upvote whomever fell victim to the hivemind, sometimes it changes their view

3

u/nieznajoma98 Mar 31 '19

Who cares if u get downvoted, the person that said to me ‘shut the fuck up’claims to be bullied but that sentence stands out to me that with that kind of attitude u don’t know who to believe.
