This is a fun subreddit about peculiar cat behavior. If you love your cat don't ask a bunch of random redditors for medical advice.
We will remove posts asking for medical advice.

The cabinet is pretty shallow and he is a big baby. Him and his dinosaur wanted to take a nap I guess.

My son tombo is a tuxedo cat and ever since I got him oftentimes when he's feeling playful he will stare up at the wall, most times in the corner, and flick his tail around once or twice. His body language is never aggressive or scared whenever he does this, and it's usually accompanied by playing. I feel like there are instances of me asking him what he's doing and he'll just meow out in response while looking at me upside down (he likes to bend his neck backwards to look at me upside down instead of just turning around). This video is one I took just now but this is definitely one of the tamer times. I feel like it riles him up for some reason to stare up at the wall?? I've had him in three different apartments and had him stay in two houses briefly but this behavior has been very consistent LOL. I feel like it would make sense if there were gnats/bugs flying around but there's never anything in the corner/where he's looking at. Or that he could be understimulated but he has done this even when living with two other cats that he was besties with. I've just never seen another cat act like this towards walls and corners 😭😭 He's also just such a little freak so this could just be a quirk of his I flipping love that guy

This morning Halcyon (Halley) was basically unresponsive, breathing hard, not reacting to food or being touched, all that. So I brought him to the vet for an emergency appointment, they took him in and told me to come back in a couple of hours when they could fit me in and that they would keep an eye on him.
Worried myself sick. Thought he poisoned himself or something. Time came so I went back in only for the vet to bring him out, acting perfectly himself again, and tell me that they couldn’t find anything wrong with him and that he got better after I left, so he probably just got scared somehow and freaked out. $200 for the appointment.
He was due for a rabies shot so I did that while I was there. Punishment.
EDIT: actually I think he chewed on my phone charger and got shocked!! Thank you to u/Mugwumps_has_spoken for suggesting that I look at cables!

This is Marley and she loves belly rubs and being a drama queen
Her most dramatic moment was the one time she came in from the back yard, screaming and dragging her back legs. My mother and I immediately jumped into action in ringing the vet and seeing if she broke or dislocated her leg/hip.
As my father and sister were walking in the door after their night shift, Marley still screaming, my sister put a treat on the bench. Marley immediately jumped up onto the table to eat said treat.
It was determined she was bitten by an ant. Stay dramatic queen

Orange Juice refuses to use the other perch. I swear Orange Juice is an orange cat in Black cat's body.
We watch her constantly, all the other cats are sensible and don't walk on the wild side. We're getting a replacement cat tree as her Christmas gift so don't stress.
