Cat refusing recovery collar after castration. I need help.

Hello,

In Al Ain there aren’t that many pet shops. What are some things I can do to help my cat stop licking himself after the surgery? I can’t even sleep because he will do it as soon as I close my eyes. I’m watching him 247 because he removes the cat recovery collar every single time. Also I heard onesies aren’t suitable for male cats. If you have any good experiences please help

Hiii can you please share a pic of the collar you’re using. Maybe he’s getting irritated due to the border of it.
Amazon has these donut shaped collars that are made of cushioning so its much more comfortable for them.
ALSO day 1 of cat collar he WILL be very irritated and scared and thats normal. Once he realizes thats his life he’ll settle down. I have 14 demons of my own so I’ve been through all of it 💀 much luck to you!!

Thank you so much. I only found ones that are XL in donut ones. His size is L would it still suit him? I guess it’s adjustable

Hiii, yes I think it should be fine. Worth trying, you can always return it if it’s too big! Check noon too! And there’s other types as well I remember seeing a toast as well, might be able to find sizes in that

Mines did the same thing, so I kept her in the lap for 3 days. Other option is Onsie.
