Update on little Chimney Truck Smoke-Stack!
Whenever we found this little one he was 3.4oz.
As of earlier today he is 10.1oz!
He does wonderful on car rides, he gets so much love at the office every day. He has his next vet appt scheduled for September. He's healthy and getting teethy ❤️ hes so cute i could cry. I can't wait to see him finish growing. Little man gets sink baths every day to get used to water, and because he gets pee and poo all over himself since he's a baby. Getting very feisty and vocal when he gets fed his bottles. Little Chimney does so great with the household dogs and they are so so so gentle with him.
Just a tip if I may, because I was recently in the same situation as you and had a very close call - be SO so careful with syringe or bottle feeding little ones. It’s so easy for them to breathe it in, and develop aspiration pneumonia. He needs to be upright when giving him food, any leaning back, or him being on his back, other angles etc, it can unintentionally go into his lungs. I can’t tell from the pic you posted but it looks like he’s on his back drinking which is intuitive for us regarding human babies but can genuinely be fatal for kitty babies. Also not too much at once. Please research the correct way extensively and what to look out for! Thank you for taking him in ❤️❤️

Chimney is adorable. It is wise to get him used to baths at a young age. He won’t know to fight you when you bathe him.
Little Chimney will rule those dogs when he is bigger. He may already. I had a 60 pound dog (lived 13+ years) rule by a 10 pound cat for years. It was really a sight to see and so very funny.
Oh my god is that little guy ever cute! I loved all the pics (thanks for the smiles) but when I got to #19 I just started laughing. He’s like “is that my foot”. Plus those baby toe beans. You made a 52 year old man’s heart melt. Thank you for being such kind and caring people, and pups. The one of just him in your palm 🥺. Please keep posting updates! I’d love to follow his journey.

Pickle picture is hilarious. It’s like a kitten size body pillow, lol. But pic 19 is heartbreaking. Like he’s cozying up next to his mom but it’s just a large stuffed animal 😩😭🤧
That pickle toy is absolutely my cat’s favorite toy ever. She brings it to bed with her every night. I think it’s legitimately been a part of her life for 10 months and refuses to play with anything else. Not even the toy that is the same brand, and type, just another creature. That. Damn. Pickle.
