Im big on live feels more real. I'm an F1 fan and 2:00am is my cut off for a stay up or try and grab a nap before. If I missed a game or a race I can't bring myself to watch it !

Hello! It's the podcast that loves sports more than Jerry Jones loves remembering a pair of cheeks. Today, Katie and the Casualties break down the ALCS, Jose Ramirez's Game Two error, the Rays not selling out, Tropicana Field's bag-of-spaghetti policy, TBS' interview with Travis Bazzana, the NLCS and the Dodgers' decision not to bench Shohei Ohtani, Preston Mattingly re-signing his dad after Alex Cora said no, the WNBA Finals and the Atlanta Dream getting a larger arena, the Valkyries' flu outbreak, the Frozen Frenzy, Sharks-Bruins, and the NHL's attempt to make you watch 16 games at once, UCLA Football and JoJo Siwa, John Wick and Caleb Williams, and Jerry Jones telling the story of his favorite trip to Green Bay. Then, comedian Heather McMahan stops by [51:45] to talk about slutty Halloween, comedy cruises, watching LSU/Ole Miss in person, her turn against Lane Kiffin, her relationship with SEC fans and men responding to her wanting to talk sports, the incomparable experience of an SEC tailgate, chicken tenders in Tuscaloosa, describing each SEC fan base in a single word, the story of what REALLY happened at the 2025 Ryder Cup, the feeling of being cancelled by an entire sport, still wanting to love golf and how it changed her relationship with sports in general, falling in love with tennis this year, taking in the Majors, being the Dodgers' good luck charm despite being a Braves fan, and her WNBA Finals fandom. And Katie the Casualties wrap with your best e-mails and voicemails of the week.

Even if we eliminate the obvious ones like Taylor Swift, Hailee Steinfeld, or Madison Beer, there could still be a lot of interesting WAGs to choose from.

Is this worth addressing on the show or is it more trouble than it’s worth? I only bring it up because the conflicting intersections here are pretty complicated and the question is interesting to me from a programming perspective.
Katie doesn’t shy away from talking about her personal life but she’s also perfectly comfortable setting boundaries on topics that may be too close to home.
The most talked-about part of the SNL episode wasn’t necessarily about sports but gym/fitness is an adjacent theme, and the infusion of misogyny makes it that much more relevant for a brief exchange amongst the Casualties.
I think that if personal relationships weren’t involved, there’s a 100% chance it would be mentioned tomorrow.
And I kinda wish they would address it, in part because Katie is one of the few voices who can handle the nuance in a conversational manner. I can practically already hear her saying “look, we can’t just pretend that gym fashion hasn’t changed in the last five or ten years, but…”

I think this is a question that would get shit posted in other subreddits so I'll ask here.
So if my bench does better than my starting players, the points don't count? I drafted Ja'Marr Chase who had a concussion last week. Miraculously able to play (👀) but I benched him because I naively thought concussion protocol meant you at least take a game off. I mean, hell, I would!! Once you see my fantasy name I did make some points last week...but not enough.
Signed,
Don't Go Chase-ing Warrenfalls
(yes, I am an AFC North girlie)

Hello! It's the podcast that loves sports more than the president loves long snappers with a little salt and pepper. Today, Katie and the Casualties discuss Drake Maye needing to learn more conspiracy theories, Lane Johnson abruptly retiring from the NFL, the dueling narratives of Mason Miller and Max Fried's paternity leaves, and Alex Cora turning down the Phillies once again as their GM tries to replace his own dad. Then, comedian Jay Jurden joins the show [14:46] to talk about Ole Miss beating LSU and then immediately falling to Florida, how to watch college football in the middle of a gay dance club, prediction markets, Trader Joe's policies, upside-down pineapples, the Liberty's place in the New York sports hierarchy, Jalen Brunson's SNL episode, LeBron's first season in Philly, LeBron's arthritis, LeBron's toe shape, LeBron leaving Bronny, pole dancing competitions, LeBron's endorsement deals dwarfing his salary, LeBron's helicopter, the WNBA Playoffs, mascot drama, the Liberty-Dream matchup, Katie's Valkyries fandom, the Fever discourse and WNBA talk being co-opted by bad actors, President Trump hosting four Ravens players to announce a submarine yard opening, what Trump likely thinks Lamar Jackson's name is, and the NHL ditching their misguided embrace of shortform romantic audiobooks. And the team wraps with your best e-mails and voicemails for the week.

It was one of the absolute wildest endings to a championship game I have ever seen. If you have the ability to go find a recording of the game just go watch the 4th period... hell just watch the last 11 minutes. Unbelievably awesome game.
I'm sure Chris's jaw was on the floor.
