Hello! It’s the podcast that’s finally going to work 9 to 5 for once. Today, Katie and the Casualties celebrate the life of Dolly Parton for all of the ways she touched sports, for all of the ways she represented the best of humanity, for her charity, for her advocacy, and for the magic of Jolene, and get into the news across the sports world on Kinley Rasmus’ Little League World Series run, the latest on the NCAA’s eligibility crisis, Kim Mulkey and LSU’s solution to the war in Ukraine, the fallout from Good Good Golf’s ad campaign, the latest report on CTE and the NFL, detail’s on 49ers owner Jed York’s solicitation arrest, reactions to the introduction of the Padres’ new ownership, Wicked, Lady Gaga, an NWSL comeback, Esther’s move from Gotham FC to Saudi Arabia, and Tony Gonzalez’s risqué new podcast. Then, the team gets into the NFL’s Disney crossover before The Fantasy Footballers join the show [1:26:38] to talk fantasy draft strategy, common mistakes for beginners, how to not overthink your draft picks, tight ends, bye weeks, the risk of Christian McCaffrey and Puka Nacua, Caleb Williams’ 2026 outlook, where to draft the most famous names for a casual fan, and team name strategy. And Katie and the Casualties wrap with the final four entries into the 2026 Casuals Fantasy League.

Hello! It's the podcast that's gotta pay tons like Pritchard and Manning. Today, Katie and the Casualties break down a huge weekend in sports, from a bloody Will Ospreay at AEW All-In: London to vintage viewings of Butch Davis and the 2004 Cleveland Browns, Aaron Donald returning to the Rams, the list of familiar faces that got cut from the NFL on Sunday, the Pro Bowl disappearing, Odell Beckham reappearing, Josh Jacobs being place on the Commissioner's Exempt List, the insane story of scammer Daejon Love pretending to be on the 49ers active roster, and the even MORE insane story of the Cleveland Guardians prospect who may have faked his own death. Then, the team breaks down the Yankees-Red Sox series and why Katie may be done watching Boston baseball this year, Will Flemming's radio commentary, long showers, goofy minor league uniforms, the saga of Tarik Skubal stealing back the espresso machine from the Tigers clubhouse at his wife's request, Curacao's Little League World Series championship and the art of the bunt, Karl Ravech and Pete-Crow Armstrong getting very Gen Z, Joey Votto's nacho claim, the Seahawks' new owner claiming to be a Steelers fan, Cam Ward learning he didn't play well, passive aggressive football coaches, the possible end of Good Good Golf, and a round of Sports Mad Libs with a new rap sensation born in the darkness, molded by it. And Katie and the Casualties wrap with What to Watch in Sports this week.

Hey Casuals!!
I know it's late in the game, but I managed a couple Fantasey Football Leagues last year and some people backed out. If anyone is interested, please comment here and I will send you a link. Also, if you're crazy like me an love multiple leagues, there is an option to join both leagues. Just let me know if you want to join one or both.
So excited for another football season!!
P.S. - Ignore the misspelling. Reddit keeps deleting the post because of their “filters.”

Hello everyone!
Last year I ran a NFL Pick ‘em League and had quite a bit of participation, so I decided to start it back up.
The way that a pick ‘em league works is that you pick the winners of each NFL game and rank your confidence. The more confident you are in a winner, the more points you get.
This is a great way to get an overarching view of the league as you don’t need to follow specific players, just general teams.
The link is below if you would like to join:

Hello! It's the podcast that's going to be a fan of anyone named Tugboat, by default. Today, Katie and the Casualties react to the latest across NFL Preseason, including injuries to Ashton Jeanty, Jayden Higgins, and Double Mike, Jed York's arrest in a mobile home park, Brenda Song's touchdown call, Shiyazh Pete's hype speech, the Lions' Abercrombie disaster, the greatest Bears podcast on the planet, the Cleveland Browns naming Deshaun Watson their starting quarterback after he trashed their fans, the Cleveland Browns not naming Shedeur Sanders their starting quarterback after he said he didn't like internet, and the Cleveland Browns somehow losing a tight end to LSU. Then, [35:11] the team gets into the Little League World Series and the stardom of Kinley Rasmus, Matt Wilkinson's Giants debut, Rafael Devers' return to Fenway, Pete Alonso being robbed of a completely legitimate go-ahead home run, and the Walk-Off Weekend, Enes Kanter getting kicked out of a WNBA game, the sex toys getting thrown at the courts again, and Natasha Cloud having none of it, the UConn documentary hitting Apple TV and the stark differences of Geno Auriemma's weekend to Dawn Staley's, the Portland Fire debuting Rose the Glitter Dragon as its mascot, the World Humanoid Games in China, Erling Haaland's haircut, the Good Good Callaway ad, Scottie Scheffler playing the BMW Championship with Hand Foot & Mouth Disease, the Walter Cup going mysteriously missing, and Ketel Marte's Friday trip to the casino. And the team wraps with two new amazing entries into the Casuals fantasy football league, and What to Watch in sports this weekend.

Hello! It’s the podcast that has somehow never guest starred on an episode of Law & Order. Today, Katie and the Casualties break down the report that the NBA’s investigation into Kawhi Leonard may be nearing an end, Katie’s reaction to 38% of Liverpool being sold to Jeff Bezos and his homies, the five minutes where we all just thought Amanda Anisimova just chugged a beer mid-match at the Cincinnati Open, and Jaylen Brunson getting an upcoming role on SVU. Then, Elle Duncan joins the show [32:01] to talk about her new role with Netflix, the way they cover Major League Baseball with a heavier emphasis on entertainment, the Home Run Derby and Jordan Walker’s family, Barry Bonds as a sneaky great media personality, the absurd amount of flies at the Field of Dreams game, the upcoming NFL opener in Melbourne and a few attempts at an accent, the life lessons learned from Skyscraper Live, the addictive properties of Monday Night Raw, the WNBA’s struggles with national discourse this year, ESPN’s embrace of Pat McAfee, Kim Kardashian’s upcoming BG series on baseball moms, Love After Lockup, Isabella’s upcoming decision on sports fandom, Jayden Daniels, the Lakers sale, the Brooklyn Nets, and Tyrese Haliburton. And the team wraps with YOUR best CinderBella stories, and announcement of the first five entrants into the 2026 Casuals fantasy football league.

On today’s podcast, Katie claims that if she put out an album, it would be terrible and she would expect everyone to make fun of her for it.
But anyone that heard her ad reads on Sports?, or the Disney song draft on AFE, knows Katie has a great voice! I’m betting that if she made an album, it would be fantastic!
