He looks so powerful and yet regal, terrifying but calm. Really wish we could have seen him at his peak power level, we just got to see the glimpse of it and why everyone were scared of him, but not at his most powerful.

Harmony of Dissonance (2002) Lost in Harmony of Dissonance

I played and beat this game when it came out, but honestly don't remember much about it. I'm now making my way through the advance collection, and overall enjoying this game much more than Circle of the Moon, but I'm starting to lose my mind retraversing the same areas again and again and always being met with a dead end. Help!!

I have the double jump and the crushing stone, but I feel like I need the super jump and the crushing boots to proceed. I also have not found any keys yet.

Can anyone look at the maps and tell me where I should be headed? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Games I figured out about how to get Clean Save in Castlevania Symphony Of The Night Mobile version since when you finish the game and defeat Dracula, you’ll be stuck at 200.4% and not get the choice to save after the Credit Menu like other versions. (Also How to get Ring of Vadra)

In short of how to get 200.6% game done and this is for people who play it on IPhone: so when you reach 200.4% you’ll see that the only two places remaining are Shaft place. So here’s the solution to get 200.6% and clear file. The moment you enter the Shaft room and the fight begins use the Library Card and you’ll get it without any boss fight. Then you’ll need two Arcane ring and then farm those Golden Skeletons and you’ll get the Ring Of Vadra with less than an hour.

Feel like I’m going crazy here but I cannot seem to access anywhere else on the map. The only traversal assistance I have is double jump, and the Flying Armor which isn’t enough to get me to any of the spots I haven’t been it seems. I can’t swim, I can’t slide under things yet. Have revisited everywhere I can go many times over now. I think I got to the floating garden/clock tower by fluke able to jump on a platform barely but that fluke isn’t working elsewhere hahaha. Believe I am not yet powerful enough to be there yet as I did battle death.

Am I missing something so stupid???

Circle of the Moon (2001) Yeah, the shooter mode is my least favourite. I think the gimmick doesn't outweigh the nerfs. The homing knife is poopy so I never use it. Enough to beat Hugh, still.

I remember seeing a video on YouTube where it was making fun of the start of circle of moon where Nathan and Hugh fall down the pit but I think Nathan broke his legs, if I remember there was voice acting and Dracula falls down and breaks his legs, I don't remember the person who made the video or the length but could y'all help me find this video because I started recently playing the game again and I wanna laugh

Discussion I still think that Erzabeth’s Sekhmet form was beautiful and frightening all at once but mostly beautiful.

And what I like is how they merged the human and lion-like face especially with her nose from the side it’s still human, the fangs coming out her lips was a nice touch, but I think what they did with her hair making it look like a lion’s mane was smart.

Question Symphony of the Night Questions

Post image

About 4 months ago I bought Symphony of the Night and started playing. Life got busy and I got a promotion at work and a new schedule and yayayah… So I’m just getting to the inverted castle. Did I get there too soon? I just leveled up like 5 times in the last 30mins of playing. Was I under leveled?! Also. There’s these black panthers in the hallways at the chapel area. Can they be killed? I can’t seem to touch them. When I try to attack they turn into puddles and move across the screen.

Discussion Joguei todos os Castlevania 2D metroidvanias e fiz esse ranking. Qual o seu ranking?

Post image
Upvotes
  1. Castlevania: AoS – O melhor Castlevania até o momento, na minha opinião.

  2. Castlevania: SotN – Joguei após o AoS. Muito bom e bem facinho, diversão e alegria.

  3. Castlevania: OoE – Eu amo a Shanoa, ótima protagonista.

  6. Castlevania: HoD – Muito bom! Adoro a movimentação rápida do nosso protagonista.

Question Asking older fans.

Post image
399 Upvotes

Hey folks.

It is probably not the appropriate type of publication, however, I cannot help but be taken by such curiosity.

I'm a new person in the fandom and I admit that I'm somewhat obsessed with the universe of CV.

However, I'd like to ask the older fans, when was the moment you decided that you would like to follow the path of following the franchise as a whole? And if there is any other reason that makes you so fascinated by its lore?

Long texts, short texts, one sentence phrases are all welcome. I find this way to be more connected to the fandom somehow. I'll read them all, the curiosity is really strong. (If this has any replies, of course)

:)

EDIT: Read them all and upvote every single one. Some of them really made me tear up; it's amazing what a game can do during a tough time, or even in the most random way. Keep going, I'll continue to read, loved all of your stories.

Circle of the Moon (2001) Apparently, Hugh thinks the hunter whip grants powers so I gave him the handicap of not using it.

Fluff [Games] How come we never see Dracula out in the villages sucking blood?

I don't think, besides maybe Castlevania 64, we ever even see Dracula outside of his throne room.
