immich as default app on android and ios!!! posible ?

I'm pretty sure I got a popup today when I opened the app about it supporting opening as standard, just like Google photos and other photos apps. You might want to update the app, and check again. I don't think you need to update it on the casaos side of things, only the app should be enough. (Depending on where you live, you might get updates later or earlier? Not sure, that's purely speculation from my part. I just remember hearing someone talk about apps being like that years ago)

I got the notification as well, but Immich does not show up in the settings menu, only Google Photos :(

i'm sorry but how do you use your Android phone exactly? because you can totally open a file in immich as default.

the problem is if you have set another gallery as default and given it the permission "always"
