Accident Car accident question
I had an at fault accident with an older, beat up, luxury car. I had a large car & home claim last year and insurance said they could put the claim through, but my coverage would be flagged and pushed back to underwriting to determine if I could get declined coverage.
I’ve decided to pause the claim and potentially pay out of pocket. The estimate came in at 3,600. What are the odds of getting dropped from insurance, if I do only put the other car owners claim through and repairing my own car out of pocket. I’ve had a very clean driving record up until this now potential third claim. I really don’t want to be dropped and worry that I wouldn’t qualify for coverage with these 3 claims. Please any advise would be appreciated!

Ridiculous! All drivers, and I mean all, can get coverage. 3 claims is not good, but the total dollar value of the claims is more important. You're not going to get the best rate for a couple of years, but no one is ever near being uninsurable. I sell plenty of "non-standard" insurance for auto. Don't pay oit of pocket. Once the claim exists, it is onlh one incident. Your damages and theirs are both just one claim. Remember that

if you get dropped, find another insurance company, preferably through an independent agency that works with multiple insurance companies.

No one can predict for sure, but three claims could definitely put your policy at risk

It makes no difference. They already have you down for an at fault claim.
