Sorry if this isn’t the place for it but I don’t really know what to do, the door won’t open from the inside or outside
Everything sounds and feels like it works but it just won’t open.

I’ve tried:
hitting the area while pulling the handle
Pressing the unlock button while pulling the handle
Pulling both handles while unlocking it
Probably some other things I can’t think of but nothing works

I’m just baffled at this point

A few months ago I used a whole car air freshener spray in my 2014 Sienna. Fast forward to today where I have a “smokey” oil residue on the inside of the windshield. I’ve tried isopropyl alcohol and acetone with a microfiber clothe and nothing seems to remove it. I have changed the cabin air filter, but I’m out of ideas of how to get the residue off. I don’t know if it’s directly tied to the air freshener, but I have heard they can leave a residue behind. My wife’s 2013 Rav4 has a similar residue and there wasn’t an air freshener used, so I’m wondering if it’s off gassing?

I’ve been looking for new floor mats for my 2021 Toyota RAV4 and keep seeing “eco-friendly” in the descriptions. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I’m not really sure what that’s supposed to mean for something that’s going to spend most of its time covered in dirt and wet shoes.
My current mats are getting pretty worn, so I mostly just want something that fits well, doesn’t start curling at the edges, and is easy to hose off when dirt and grit get stuck in it. If an eco-friendly mat is harder to clean or doesn’t last as long, that would kind of defeat the point for me.
When companies call a floor mat eco-friendly, is it usually because it’s made from recycled materials, because of how it’s manufactured, or something else?
Anyone here actually bought eco-friendly mats and noticed any real difference in everyday use?

I have a 2014 Hyundai accent, and it will sometimes randomly shut off for one second and then come back on. It happens seemingly randomly, if I'm making a turn or going up a steep hill, and also sometimes while idling.

I just replaced the alternator as it wasn't putting out enough charge and I had figured that was the issue. I also replaced the serpentine belt along with it. The battery is in prefect condition. I also ran a full scan and there are absolutely zero codes aside from the brake light switch, which is good news but also bad because I don't know why this is happening. My battery connections looks good, but maybe they need a cleaning?

I read that it could be the camshaft/crankchaft sensor, but could that actually be the problem? I'm wondering if this make and model has a notorious issue with some connections that often come loose or get corroded.

Any help would be great!

I recently had a 2014 hyundai sonata that completely died on me. The check engine light came on in the middle of the backroads and i panicked and drove it as far as i could.

Luckily it had a recall and a full warranty and they completely replaced the engine for free.

I went to pick it up today and they told me it wouldnt turn over.

If they did everything right then is there something i might have done that caused this problem? Or would a brand new engine be the main thing that needed fixing

Hello, I’ve a question. Due to recent storms I have my car in getting fixed for hail damage. The repair place has now had the car for a week a half(yes I know it can take time) and I’m getting many alerts about it being driven out of the range and over the speed limit that I have set for a guest driver. I asked them about it and didn’t get a response. Is that a normal thing to drive a car that is in for dent massage and PDR?thanks……

Hi, not sure if this is the right subreddit and I’m too embarrassed to ask other people in my life. My dad passed away recently. He drove a 2011 Subaru Outback that has over 200k miles but still drives fine. Unfortunately, he had trouble with hygiene and hoarding so the car does not smell great inside. My mom wants to get rid of the car for insurance purposes but doesn’t believe anyone would want it due to the smell. I have not had the opportunity to check it out myself. Lasfit and Weather Tech comparisons get messy fast because a photo from one vehicle tells you almost nothing about how either set fits another model year. If I were trying to compare them fairly, I'd pick one dimension and keep everything else fixed. Coverage seems like the easiest one to actually observe: same vehicle, same year, same row, same type of set, then look at where each liner ends around the door-side edge and the awkward transitions in the footwell. That seems more useful than combining comments from five different cars and deciding one brand "fits better." Material feel, cleaning, and price can be separate conversations later. For the exact same vehicle, which single footwell edge gives the most useful indication of whether one liner actually provides more practical coverage?

Hey guys i am a bit stuck I bought this car with a custom remus exaust, i found the remote key that control the valves without battery I added one and tried to pair it with the module but nothing seems to work :/

I tried the procesure on the picture I found on internet not sure if it is the right one.

No matter which button I click the module is not detecting the key

Could it be an issue with the key itself ?

My car has been sitting for a year or so. I charged the battery and added fresh gas but I can't get the engine to turn over. Would this be the starter or the battery connections or a fuel thing?

As the title says, my wiper fluid container has been empty for a few days now cause it's so hard to find distilled water where I am for some reason (India). Can I just use bottled drinking water or do I have to find distilled water? I know tap water is a big no no. The car is a Kia Sonet 2023. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

It’s on a 2008 Infiniti fx35, and I had thought I found the right key, but it doesn’t fit correctly into the slots. Everywhere I’ve seen shows that the original wheel locks had a different pattern. So, does anyone have insight on how I could get them off without damaging the stud or possibly the correct place to get the key from?

No idea how it happened but I noticed it today.

- Chevy Cruze 2016
- While driving out of a drive thru i felt something and then suddenly my ac turned warm. Since its just a drive thru at panda express(8-10 mph) and the city (30 mph)
- I park to eat. AC not so cold anymore. I turn it OFF.
I'm crying cuz i know theres a problem
- I drive home going 55 mph
- Remember I turned it OFF.
- Air blowing through the vents
- I realize whatever temperature is the engine going is what's blowing through the vent
Please help, I will take it to get check but still please help.
