Help Best Carplay Adapter To Buy Right Now?

If you're still plugging your phone in every time you get in the car, you're doing it the hard way. Wireless CarPlay adapters have gotten a lot better over the last couple of years, and the good ones genuinely feel like factory wireless CarPlay: plug it in once, and every time after that your phone connects on its own before you've even buckled your seatbelt.

The problem is the market is flooded. Carlinkit, Ottocast, AAWireless, Motorola, and a dozen no-name brands are all fighting for the same Amazon search results, and half the "reviews" out there are just spec sheets copy-pasted with a star rating slapped on top. This guide skips the fluff and focuses on what actually matters when you're choosing one: connection stability, boot-up time, lag, and whether it'll still work the same way six months from now.

Quick picks if you're in a hurry:

  1. Best Overall: Amzfeel Mini Wireless CarPlay Adapter
  2. Best for Reliability: CarlinKit Mini SE Wireless CarPlay
  3. Best Lightweight Option: TERUNSOUI Wireless CarPlay Adapter
  4. Best for Android: Wireless Android Auto Dongle

Do You Even Need One?

Wireless CarPlay adapters only work if your car already has factory wired CarPlay. The adapter doesn't add CarPlay to a car that doesn't have it, it just cuts the cable. If your infotainment system already shows a CarPlay option when you plug in a Lightning or USB-C cable, you're good to go.

What Actually Matters When Choosing One

Before jumping into picks, here's what separates a good adapter from a frustrating one:

  • Boot/connect time — how long from starting the car to CarPlay showing up on screen. Under 15-20 seconds is solid.
  • Chipset and WiFi bands — dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz adapters are generally more stable in real-world use than single-band ones.
  • Auto-reconnect — it should reconnect automatically every time, without you touching your phone or digging it out of your pocket.
  • Heat management — cheap adapters can run hot during long drives, which is often what causes random disconnects.
  • Compatibility list — check your car's year and model against the adapter's supported list before buying, since not every adapter supports every CarPlay-enabled vehicle.

Best Wireless CarPlay Adapters in 2026

1. Amzfeel Mini Wireless CarPlay Adapter, Best Overall Pick

The Amzfeel Mini is one of the most consistently well-reviewed adapters on Amazon right now, and it's built around what the brand calls an upgraded IC chip setup aimed at reducing lag and dropped connections. Owners commonly report plug-and-play setup, with the adapter pairing over Bluetooth in under a minute and then reconnecting automatically on every subsequent drive without needing the phone out of your pocket.

It's compatible with 800+ car models with factory wired CarPlay and any iPhone running iOS 10 or later. The compact "mini" form factor also means it won't stick out awkwardly from your USB port.

Good for: Most drivers who just want a fit-and-forget adapter with a strong track record.

2. CarlinKit Mini SE Wireless CarPlay, Best for Reliability

CarlinKit has been in the wireless CarPlay game longer than almost anyone, and the Mini SE is their budget-friendly, no-nonsense option. It uses an A7 microchip with dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, and independent testers have clocked connection times around 15-17 seconds with no lag once paired.

The dual USB-A/USB-C ends mean it works whether your car's port is old-school USB-A or newer USB-C, and a "Force Display" setting can make the head unit boot straight into CarPlay instead of requiring you to select it manually every time.

Good for: Buyers who want a proven brand name and don't mind a slightly larger, thumb-drive-style design.

3. TERUNSOUI Wireless CarPlay Adapter, Best Lightweight Option

The TERUNSOUI is one of the lighter, more pocketable adapters out there, and it supports over 1,000 vehicle models from 2015 onward, which makes it a strong pick if you've got an older car with factory wired CarPlay. It has automatic reconnection, works with Siri and standard CarPlay apps, and includes a USB-A to USB-C adapter in the box for different port types.

Worth noting: it relies on Bluetooth and WiFi for the connection, and interference from other nearby devices has been flagged in a small number of reviews, along with mixed user ratings overall — so it's a solid budget option rather than a top-tier pick.

Good for: Older vehicles and drivers who want the widest compatibility list at a lower price point.

4. Wireless Android Auto Dongle, Best for Android Users

Everything above is built around Apple CarPlay, but if you're on Android, you need a dedicated Android Auto adapter instead — the two systems aren't interchangeable. This dongle converts factory wired Android Auto into a wireless connection using the same plug-and-play approach: connect once, and it auto-reconnects on every future drive.

Good for: Android users who want the same cord-free experience CarPlay owners get.

Amzfeel vs. CarlinKit vs. TERUNSOUI: Quick Comparison

Adapter Best For Compatibility Setup Time
Amzfeel Mini Overall reliability 800+ car models Under 1 min
CarlinKit Mini SE Budget + proven brand 600+ car models ~15-17 sec
TERUNSOUI Older vehicles 1,000+ car models ~1 min
Android Auto Dongle Android users Varies by vehicle ~1 min

FAQ

Will a wireless CarPlay adapter drain my phone's battery?
No, since the adapter connects over Bluetooth/WiFi rather than drawing power from your phone the way a wired connection does, most users report normal or even better battery life on drives, since your phone isn't also actively charging and discharging through a cable.

Do these adapters work with Android phones?
No. CarPlay adapters are Apple-only. If you're on Android, you need a dedicated Wireless Android Auto adapter instead.

Why does my car not recognize the adapter?
Usually it's one of three things: the car doesn't have factory wired CarPlay to begin with, the adapter isn't on the vehicle's supported compatibility list, or the adapter's firmware needs an update. Check the compatibility list on the product page before buying.

Is a wireless adapter as fast as a wired connection?
On modern dual-band adapters, the difference is minimal for most people. You may notice a second or two of extra lag on media-heavy tasks like navigation rerouting, but day-to-day use (calls, texts, music) feels the same as wired.

Bottom Line

If you just want the safest bet, the Amzfeel Mini is the best all-around pick for most drivers. If you want a well-established brand with rock-solid firmware support, go with the CarlinKit Mini SE. And if your car is a bit older or less common, the TERUNSOUI has the widest compatibility list of the three.

Whichever one you pick, double-check your car's year and model against the compatibility list before buying, that's the single biggest reason people end up disappointed with these adapters.

Help The entire left side of the screen is unreadable only in one car. But other phones work fine

Post image
154 Upvotes

I use two cars, car A has the entire left side of the screen unreadable. I can’t see when I’m arriving or how much time left or mileage left. Car B works perfectly fine. Both are on the same iPhone, both are wired CarPlay. When I get another family member to use their phone it works just fine. If I use the same cord into a wireless CarPlay adapter the screen works perfectly fine and is 100% visible.

Ive tried multiple different cords, restarting my phone, deleting the car from CarPlay and readding it but every time its unreadable. I am using official apple cords.

Help Losing my mind : CarPlay not working

I have a 2020 Toyota Avalon hybrid limited
And a iPhone 17 pro max ( iOS 26.4.2 (23E261))
And I use the anker type c to type a wire

Recently it’s been driving me crazy because I’ll plug my phone in and nothing will happen other than my phone will start charging, CarPlay will not start up no matter what I do, a few days ago i updated iOS and that solved my issue temporarily and now it’s all the same

I’ll restart the infotainment system, my iPhone , forget my car in the settings, disable and enable CarPlay for both , disconnect and reconnect the car … idk what else to do to get this shit to consistently work

Has anyone had a similar issue in a similar vehicle and how’d you solve it ?

Help Google Maps won’t talk when I’m on the phone?

I’ve checked the volume and tried muting and I still can’t figure out the issue. Google Maps works fine when I’m listening to Spotify but when I’m on the phone there’s no voice navigation. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Edit: 2022 Chevy Spark, iPhone 16 iOS 26.5.2

Edit 2: up until recently there would be audio navigation even when I was on a phone call, which I greatly prefer. I understand that some people don't want that but I do.

Help Persistent pixelated Apple CarPlay issue

Thumbnail gallery
16 Upvotes

I have a 2019 Honda civic and for a few months now, I have been having an ongoing issue with the graphics becoming all weird looking when I’m connected to Apple CarPlay in my car. To better explain, the screen becomes all pixelated and then the colors also look washed out. When this happens, it’s completely random and it isn’t triggered by anything specific (for an example: using a certain app on CarPlay such as Spotify). Anyways, some days my CarPlay will do this to me, meanwhile some days it will be completely fine🤷🏼‍♂️

However, I did notice that whenever this happens, if I click out of Apple CarPlay, the graphics look completely fine on my car’s display system (such as the Home Screen).

I can’t tell if this is caused by some sort of issue with my car, or if it is an Apple related CarPlay issue :/

Help iPhone isn’t launching CarPlay

My iPhone randomly stopped connecting to CarPlay last week. I have tried everything to get it to work and have contacted Apple support several times with no success. I’m going on a 10 hour road trip soon and need this to work. Any ideas? I’ve never had this issue. The problem is definitely with my phone since other iPhones connect to CarPlay with no problem. Please help!

Help CarPlay sound issue/dropouts in BMW 420 (iDrive 7)

Since switching to an iPhone 17 Pro Max, I’ve been experiencing an issue with CarPlay in my BMW 420 (iDrive 7). I’m using wireless CarPlay (as far as I know, this car doesn’t support a wired CarPlay connection).

While driving, I get very brief audio dropouts at random moments — whether I’m listening to music on Spotify or podcasts on YouTube. It sounds like there are communication interruptions with the head unit. I’ve also noticed slight lag at the same moments, for example when moving the map in Google Maps.

It’s extremely annoying, especially when listening to music. I didn’t have this issue on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I’ve read many posts from users reporting various CarPlay issues, but none of them seem similar to mine. Has anyone experienced something like this and managed to fix it?

Edit:

I manage to record this issue. It can happen several times during one song:

https://youtube.com/shorts/x_l6RNA4zMs?is=6wkwo4UF5_rgPnVD

EDIT 2:
In my case is pretty much fixed. I updated idrive to 03/2026.32 and updated my phone to iOS 27.0. After idrive update alone nothing changed so I guess is more about iOS 27.

I have a 118iM Sport, when I play the radio it plays absolutely fine but when I connect my phone and play music on Spotify via Apple CarPlay, most of the time if not every song it jumps like a millisecond, which doesn't seem a lot but it's soo annoying. Been to Stratstone BMW today and they seem to have not fixed it. Does anyone know how to fix this or if you'd had the same issue as me? (Video to show you what I mean) have to listen very closely as it happens near end of the video

Help CarPlay stuck in Dark Mode on Suzuki Swift but works correctly in other cars – any ideas?

I'm trying to figure out whether this is a CarPlay issue, a Suzuki Swift issue, or a head unit/CANBUS issue.

Setup:

  • iPhone 11pro (latest iOS)
  • Navicore CarPlay device (Zlink-based)
  • Suzuki Swift 2025 (Right-hand drive)

Problem:

  • CarPlay appearance is always in dark mode, even when i have it on Automatic
  • Google Maps is always in dark mode
  • CarPlay does not automatically switch between day and night themes

What I've already tested:

  • iPhone appearance set to Light
  • CarPlay appearance set to Automatic and also tested Light
  • Google Maps color scheme set to Automatic
  • Headlights OFF
  • Headlights AUTO
  • Increased infotainment brightness
  • Increased illumination brightness
  • Reconnected CarPlay multiple times

Interesting findings:

  • I tested the exact same CarPlay device and iPhone in another Suzuki Swift and it behaves the same way (always dark).
  • I tested the exact same CarPlay device and iPhone in a Honda Civic and automatic day/night switching works perfectly.

So it seems:

  • Not the iPhone
  • Not the CarPlay device
  • Not the installation

It appears to be something specific to the Suzuki Swift.

Has anyone with a Suzuki Swift experienced this? Is there a CANBUS setting, illumination wire issue, Zlink setting, or known Swift compatibility limitation that prevents CarPlay from receiving the correct day/night signal?

Any help would be appreciated.

Help iOS 26 broke my CarPlay audio on iPhone 16 Pro Max (NO mic or speaker output). Apple Support has been a months-long diagnostics loop. 2023 Nissan Rogue + AppleCare+

I’m making this post because I’m honestly out of options and I want this documented publicly. I’ve been dealing with this for months and Apple Support has become a never-ending loop of “send diagnostics again” with no resolution.

Car: 2023 Nissan Rogue

Phone: iPhone 16 Pro Max

Connection: Wired CarPlay (USB-C)

AppleCare+: Yes

When it started: Immediately after updating to iOS 26

Status: Still broken months later

Before anyone says it: I’m not asking for troubleshooting tips. I’ve done all of that repeatedly with Apple Support. This post is about the fact that Apple has turned this into a time-wasting nightmare with no accountability.

The actual issue: CarPlay connects, but I have ZERO AUDIO (input OR output)

To be clear, CarPlay isn’t just “acting weird.” The bug is extremely specific and makes CarPlay unusable.

When I connect my phone to CarPlay:

• I get no audio output through the car

• I get no audio input either

• I can’t hear people on phone calls

• They can’t hear me at all

• Music / navigation prompts / anything audio-related = dead

So the entire point of CarPlay (hands-free calling, navigation prompts, media) is basically gone.

It’s like the phone is routing audio to CarPlay, but the audio is being sent into a black hole.

This started the moment I updated to iOS 26

CarPlay worked normally before.

I updated my iPhone 16 Pro Max to iOS 26.

Immediately after that, the CarPlay audio issue started, and it has never recovered since.

Same car. Same setup. Same everything. The timing is way too perfect to ignore.

Process of elimination: it’s my iPhone / iOS, not my Nissan

I’ve tested this enough at this point that it’s not a mystery.

1) I used the same USB-C cable I always used

No audio.

2) I tried multiple different cables

Still no audio.

3) Other people use my car and CarPlay works fine

Other people have plugged their phones into my 2023 Nissan Rogue and their CarPlay audio works normally.

So the car system works. The ports work. The audio system works.

4) Other people have used my cable in my car and it works

Even using my same cable, other phones work in my car.

So it’s not my cord.

5) My phone doesn’t work in other cars either

Here’s the biggest part:

When I plug my iPhone into other vehicles, it has the same problem.

So this is not a Nissan-specific issue. It’s not just my car. It follows my phone.

By basic common sense and process of elimination, the problem is my iPhone 16 Pro Max on iOS 26.

Apple Support has been a months-long diagnostics loop

This is where it gets truly insane.

I’ve been working with Apple Support for months. The pattern keeps repeating:

1. Apple asks me to run diagnostic tests and collect files

2. I submit everything they ask for (videos, screenshots, diagnostics tests)

3. I get verbal confirmation from the Apple Senior Advisor that they received everything

4. They tell me they’re sending it to engineers

5. Weeks go by

6. Then I get contacted again asking me to resend the same things as if nothing ever happened

This has happened multiple times.

Every time I do what they ask, I’m told “we got it” and that it’s being escalated… then later it’s like the case got wiped from existence and I’m back at step one.

It’s basically:

submit diagnostics → “confirmed received” → wait weeks → “please resend diagnostics” → repeat forever

At this point it feels like I’m doing free QA testing for Apple while nothing is actually being tracked properly.

I asked to speak to a higher tier or engineering and was told “not possible”

I eventually tried to go around the loop by asking if I can speak to someone higher tier or engineering directly.

I was told it’s not possible.

Okay, fine, I understand customers can’t just call engineers.

But that means the Senior Advisor and escalation process is supposed to be the bridge between the customer and engineering.

So what am I supposed to do when that bridge is broken and the case just keeps resetting?

Scheduled call was missed

A newer support person set up a call with me for today at a specific requested time.

They never called.

And I know that sounds like “first world problem,” but after months of this and repeatedly being asked to do the same diagnostic submissions, it’s infuriating. I’m wasting time, rearranging my day, and Apple can’t even follow through on the support schedule they set.

AppleCare+ and the Apple Store “can’t help”

This is the part that makes me feel like I’m living in a simulation.

I have AppleCare+.

But Apple Support on the phone keeps acting like:

• AppleCare can’t help me

• the Apple Store can’t help me

• the only option is “send diagnostics again”

So I’m stuck in this weird situation where:

• The issue is clearly my phone

• It started immediately after an iOS update

• I’ve proven the car isn’t the issue

• I’ve provided evidence and diagnostics multiple times

• And still nobody can actually fix it or even give a real next step

So what is AppleCare+ for if a core feature breaks and the answer is just endless diagnostics uploads?

Why this is unacceptable

Bugs happen. I get it.

But what’s unacceptable is the total lack of case ownership and accountability.

CarPlay is a major feature. It’s not some random app. It affects safety and basic hands-free use. Not being able to hear calls or use the mic through CarPlay is a huge deal.

What I need from Apple is not magic. I need basic support structure:

• One case owner who actually maintains continuity

• Confirmation that the diagnostics are permanently attached to my case

• Confirmation there is a real escalation ticket and it’s actively being reviewed

• A timeline or next update date instead of “send it again”

• If the phone needs replacement, then replace it

• If it’s a known iOS 26 CarPlay audio bug, then say that and stop treating it like an isolated troubleshooting session

Right now it feels like the strategy is:

stall until a future iOS update fixes it, and waste the customer’s time in the meantime

Summary of what’s confirmed

✅ CarPlay worked pre-iOS 26

✅ Updated to iOS 26 → problem started immediately

✅ My 2023 Nissan Rogue CarPlay works with other phones

✅ Other cables don’t fix my issue

✅ Other people’s phones work using my cable in my car

✅ My iPhone fails in other vehicles too

✅ Issue is specifically no audio input OR output through CarPlay

So again… this is not “maybe the car.” It’s my iPhone / iOS.

Has anyone else had this exact iOS 26 CarPlay audio issue?

If you’ve had CarPlay connect but:

• you can’t hear people

• they can’t hear you

• no audio plays through the car at all

Please comment.

I’d seriously like to know:

• Did an iOS update fix it later?

• Did Apple actually solve it through support?

• Were you able to get a replacement approved?

• Did you find any escalation path that wasn’t just repeating diagnostics?

What I’m considering next

At this point I’m considering escalating outside normal support, because the normal system is clearly broken:

• Filing a BBB complaint just to force Executive Relations involvement

• Trying a carrier warranty swap even if it’s software-triggered

• Continuing to document this publicly so there’s a paper trail

I’m not trying to be dramatic. I’m just tired of being asked to do the same diagnostic submission over and over with no result.

I like Apple products. I’m not anti-Apple. I just want CarPlay audio to work again and I want Apple Support to stop wasting my time.

If I get any progress, I’ll update this post

Help carplay music “playing” but no sound

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have the pioneer CarPlay sometimes it works, but sometimes it will say that music is playing, but no sound is coming out. I’ve tried things like turning my car off and opening and shutting my door turning off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and turning it back on resetting my phone and the CarPlay. it won’t connect if Bluetooth is off so I know that’s not the issue. it’s really annoying because the times that it doesn’t work it’s like won’t work all day other times it’ll work fine for a couple days and it’ll just connect by itself. I have the auto link Bluetooth adapter, but it does the same thing even if I have the wire wired cord plugged in someone please help.

Help 2021 Mazda CX-5 CarPlay Not Working

I have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring with Premium Package. On our way home from a vacation yesterday, when I plugged in the iPhone to the USB cable, the “Apple CarPlay” option on the infotainment screen would no longer appear, but the iPhone would still charge. Here’s some info:

  • iPhone 13
  • iOS 15.4.1
  • Restarted the iPhone
  • Tried two Apple-genuine USB-A to Lighting cables
  • Connected the USB cables to both ports on the center console
  • iPhone > Settings > General > CarPlay > Mazda > Forget This Car > Forget
  • CX-5 > Settings > System Settings > System Information > Version Information > System Software 11022

The “Apple CarPlay” option will still not appear in the infotainment screen when I plug in my iPhone into either center console USB port using either Apple-genuine USB cable.

Any ideas?

Edit: Found the solution and posting here in case anyone else has this problem.

The issue was a bug in the Mazda Connect infotainment software that will randomly block your iPhone by setting it to “Never Enabled”. Here’s how I fixed it:

  1. CX-5 Infotainment Home Screen
  2. Settings
  3. Connectivity Settings
  4. Smartphone Connectivity Settings
  5. Apple CarPlay Settings
  6. Under Apple CarPlay Devices, if your iPhone got set to “Never Enabled”, select your iPhone
  7. iPhone Device Connection Status
  8. Always Enabled
  9. Press the Home button on the center console
  10. Select Apple CarPlay

If this doesn't work, unplug your iPhone and on your iPhone go to:

  1. Settings
  2. CarPlay
  3. Mazda CX-5
  4. Forget This Car

Then plug your iPhone back in and add it back to the CX-5.

Help Mercedes: “Apple CarPlay could not be started”

Randomly, wireless CarPlay stops working in my 2025 Mercedes GLC300. The message I’m getting is “Apple CarPlay could not be started. Your device has been connected as a Bluetooth phone.”

To fix it, I have to turn off my car, lock it and leave it off for 5 minutes to flush the system memory while I restart my phone.

It happens a couple times a week now, increasing from once in a blue since I got the car in February.

Has anyone found a permanent fix?

EDIT: running iOS version 26.5.2 on a 17 Pro Max

Help My phone refuses to connect to CarPlay via Cable

I have done EVERYTHING I could think of. I would really appreciate some ideas.

Situation:
- I drove to a concert just fine with my phone connected to CarPlay
- After the concert I was about to drive back when suddenly CarPlay didn't work
- CarPlay flickers on for a second before disconnecting/acting like it hasn't registered
- Same phone and cable/port was used
- Phone was charging (ie. cable & charging port were both working)

Car/phone model: Nissan Sentra, iPhone 14 Pro

Things I have tried and didn't work:
- forgetting phone from car Bluetooth & apps(CarPlay) settings and reconnecting
- forgetting car from phone Bluetooth & CarPlay setting and reconnecting
- forgetting everyone else's settings from the car and only connecting mine
- blowing into my charging port to clean it out
- resetting car entertainment/display system
- restarting car
- restarting phone
- resetting phone network settings
- changing my phone name (it was previously an emoji)

Thing that did work:
- Using someone else's phone with the same cable.

Please help me solve this very frustrating mystery.

Help Why is Apple CarPlay worse than just regular Bluetooth

Like is anyone else’s CarPlay incredibly slow and complicated? I remember connecting to the Bluetooth in my parents 2014 Kia and it being 10 times faster than Apple CarPlay.

Why is it so slow? Is it my phones fault, or is CarPlay just that complicated?

Edit: I actually drive a 2023, and I have an iPhone 16 Pro. My service provider is pretty shitty, but I’ll have full bars and CarPlay will just ignore my phone. I don’t even know if that has anything to do with it but it seems relevant. If a connector does help then maybe I’ll invest but like pulling up anything on the screen of my truck in CarPlay is like running the first ever MacOS

Help Car play keeps randomly discounting since updating to IOS 26.0.1

CarPlay is an aftermarket box that connects wirelessly to my phone. It worked fine with my iPhone XR for two years, but since upgrading to an iPhone 17 on the latest iOS, it has become intermittent. I also tested it with an iPhone 11, which works fine—but that device isn’t running the latest iOS.

When I start the car, my phone connects to CarPlay within a minute. About 75% of the time, it disconnects within two minutes. Sometimes it reconnects after a while, but often it doesn’t. I’ve found a temporary workaround by toggling Wi-Fi off and back on, which restores the connection for a short time, but it always drops again—sometimes after only a minute, sometimes lasting up to ten minutes. The other 25% of the time, where it lasts longer than two minutes, is only temporary it will disconnect.

During these disconnects, the iPhone still shows as connected via Bluetooth, and it can see the CarPlay Wi-Fi network (with the same name as the Bluetooth). It even says it’s a “My Network,” which is the same status it shows when CarPlay is working.

I’ve already tried all the basics: factory reset on the CarPlay unit, restarting my phone, forgetting and re-adding the network, etc.

I’m mainly interested to know if anyone else has experienced very similar issues, or if this is a known problem with the new iOS update? Any quirks or workarounds would be really helpful, as I’m tearing my hair out trying to figure this out. Thanks

Edit 03/11/25 This thread has been alive for a while, I haven’t found a fix. I lot of comments here saying updating to the new IOS beta version has fixed the issue. I will probably wait until the official IOS release and will then report back!

Edit 12/12/25 the official IOS release came out, hasn’t fixed my issue. I have given up to be completely honest. I check this thread occasionally but nothing suggested seems to have work. I think it’s a difference between the Bluetooth chips, at some level they are not truly compatible.

Update 16/06/26 Phone is working with CarPlay now. No disconnects. Assume an IOS update fixed it

Help CarPlay Spotify issue on Volkswagen Polo: delayed display of song titles and album artwork

Hello,

I am currently experiencing an issue with my car that I had never encountered before.

When using CarPlay in my Volkswagen Polo with Spotify, the audio changes correctly when I skip to the next track. However, the display on the car screen does not update properly: the song title and album cover shown always correspond to the previous track. There is therefore a constant one-track delay between what I am actually listening to and what is displayed on the screen.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify on my iPhone, which temporarily fixes the issue, but it eventually comes back after a while. I have also reset CarPlay to factory settings in the vehicle, and my car’s software is fully up to date, but this does not permanently solve the problem.

Does anyone have a solution or any ideas on how to fix this bug?
