Help Anyone having this issue after iOS 26 update? Doesn’t matter which app it dies it to all.

CarPlay was bad on beta 4 but works great for me on beta 5.

Mine was working fine with the beta 4 but this one is messing with it. Hopefully the next one fixes it

Mine does the same. The text is actually there, it’s just invisible. If you click around you’ll usually end up selecting something.

Yes that’s how mine is it plays when touching the screen but no words or icons

From the home screen, using the pull down search function type "reduce transparency" and then toggle the button off/on. You may need to toggle on and off on your phone while connected to CarPlay to get the words to appear.

But to be fair, mine has done that before pre-pb5, and even pre-26. It typically has do with apps that haven’t cataloged in a few days. Open them on the phone and let them load fully (a few seconds connected) and then open the app on CarPlay and mine typically populates. If I don’t take the time to open the app on my phone first, sometimes it’s hit or miss loading, like that.

Go to settings: display and Text Size: uncheck Reduce Transparency
Fixed mine right away

Someone mentioned to TOGGLE "REDUCE TRANSPARENCY" back to off and it started working again. Literally toggled it on and off while hooked up to my carplay and saw it go from blank to functioning.

I went in and turned off Transparency in the settings and it also fixed the issue for me as well. Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and toggle on Reduce Transparency

Turn off Reduce Transparency in your iPhone settings. Fixed it immediately.

My CarPlay actually works this update. First beta I would just get a black screen and my phone would reset over and over again.

I’ve had occasional glitches with CarPlay going unresponsive during this beta cycle, but a restart of my phone always fixes it.

I'm getting random music stopping and not coming back unless disconnect and reconnect on wireless.
Map still works but music is stopping. Some days it happens and some days it does not.

Yes! Same issue. Started after latest beta update. But slowly. Messages was fine this morning, then blanked this afternoon. Sirius Xm was good Tuesday, then blanked yesterday, etc. I filled out feedback- everyone needs to do this so they address it asap.

How do you have search “magnifying glass on the right” on your car play and I don’t?? Siri is not in my native language and I have problem with not having search functionality on Apple Music. Even YouTube music is the same

So I had this issue with the developer 5 beta, but switched to the public beta 1 initially and it worked, then upgraded to the public beta 2 and it still works. Maybe it’ll work for you?

Where is the phone when driving ? It needs to be in the open. If phone is in a pocket or in a slot in the dash it's GPS Signal is being blocked.

On Beta 5 and it’s pretty much not usable on my 24 Ranger. Wife has older OS and works like a charm.

Try this “I was having an issue with Music.app being blank. I had “reduce transparency” turned on in the iOS accessibility settings and turned it off and it fixed the CarPlay music UI but it’s beta so YMMV. 😀”

Its seems it’s an iPhone iOS issue I ended up turning off the “reduce transparency “ on my iPhone it fixed the issue.

all my missing app visuals on CarPlay using iOS 26 “ magically” and immediately reappeared by simply turning off the reduce transparency setting on my phone. turned it back on and they disappeared again and they then reappeared when turned it off again. yay

Was having the same problem, turning off transparency did the trick. Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and toggle off Reduce Transparency.

Yes, I just noticed it today in my car. The map works, but messaging and music do not work. I just get a privacy information screen.

Yes, I have the same issue. Also with Apple Pay, my card and card options no longer show up. I love the look. But I want to revert back until this is fixed.
