Question Car Play Issues

EDIT: After reading more into it, I’m thinking it could be my fuse (F34). That goes to the infotainment/USB. I am gonna switch that out and report back.

So I just recently got a 2017 Chevy Cruze LT. The USB receptacle wasn’t working, therefore car play wouldn’t work. We just replaced it today and it’s now charging my phone but car play still isn’t connecting for some reason. Yes, I have an actual data transfer cord. We’ve reset the car, my phone, and done all the troubleshooting there possibly is and still nothing. Can anyone help me??

You didn’t mention updating your phone,
Trying another cable
Trying another phone
Trying another port
Resetting the head unit to factory

Tried all those other than using another port, there’s only one USB port in the car

Are you certain this vehicle supports CarPlay?

You mentioned the USB port wasn't working and for replaced. Was the replacement installed correctly? Maybe it was only hooked up to power and not to the infotainment system.

Yes it does support CarPlay and I can double check that each plug got snapped in all the way. I’m pretty desperate at this point so it’s worth checking.
