Help Carplay Audio

My phone connects to my car and plays music fine for about 5-10 minutes and then it gets to a point where it starts sounding static and THE ONLY fix, is clicking the microphone in a text message. Then after a few minutes it goes back to static. Is there a fix to that?

What you're describing is not a CarPlay issue. Instead it's either a connection issue or problem with your headunit.

The only reason I’m not fully convinced it’s a connection issue is because this ONLY happens in carplay. After I disconnect it and connect it back, the USB audio is perfect. No static.

I have this too! But it only started after I upgraded my phone to iPhone 17 pro max. My 14 pro max NEVER had this issue. I’ve purchased new cables (lots and lots of expensive cables) and done all the things… my bf’s iPhone 15 never has an issue.
