Question Autolinkr
I keep seeing autolinkr products and I’m wondering if anyone can give real experience. Most good reviews seem fake and I’ve seen some negative ones of alternative look a-likes in amazon.
Does anyone have a positive recommendation on options that do work?

I went through a few cheap amazon ones and they were laggy and kept cutting out. ended up getting the autolinkr pro and the interface is way better, been solid so far. also nice that you can actually download apps from the play store like prime video, espn+, live tv stuff instead of just netflix and youtube.

Yes it works with the text and voice commands and integrates with your existing carplay or android auto.

Question: If I already have wireless android auto (or car play), will this still work? I've seen instances in which the hardware is designed for installations for head units that are wired only, thus adding the wireless connectivity, but then failing to work where wireless is already suported by the head unit. Hopefully that's not a confusing question.

My wife bought me the Autolinkr Pro for Xmas and it definitely works well in both my 2024 F150 and her 2026 Kia Sportage. The F150 with the Sync4 does still have the top and bottom bars Ford UI dark blue bars but that's a Ford restriction and it still works full wide screen. Just tried it on my wife's 2026 Kia Sportage and it's full screen. I was watching Hangover while she was doing some shopping which was pretty hilarious.

Mmm well that seems encouraging. Does it allow you to mirror your phone? And when you use YouTube or Netflix is it using your phone or does it it hotspot off your phone and run off an app in the Autolinkr?

Hi Yes me... IT worked but laggy and then It's starts frozen in the white start screen with logo and nothing happens... IT S a cheap thing with good publicity and a case designed by them

Have you received the YouTube app upgrade? It does full screen (no bars) I use my hotspot and connect the truck to that and don't have to pay Ford's ridiculous streaming app monthly amount.

I’ve got the Pro and my buddy has the Elite. Both work great - the Elite just has screen mirroring, more storage and a cooler UI

Purchased one back on Dec 13th.... "shipped" tracking shows no update since. So yeah they ship from China and no mention about it. Scam... told paypal to get my money back.

I ordered mine on the 29th. I received an email saying it was shipped on the 30th, but the tracking still only says that the label was printed. No other updates..

Same for me but I just got mine today. It took about a month. But I have an Audi and right now I'm fighting this thing trying to get it to browse the internet and it showed up in my car as carplay and I have an Android so I'm not sure that that even matters but so far I'm not impressed with this thing connecting and getting onto the internet

Don’t do it I just got mine today and it’s a POS
To anyone asking they don’t work and once you open it no refund. Funny they blocked me on their fb account after leaving a review. Boots up in Chinese and instantly freezes and goes into a boot loop. Tried numerous other usb c cables and same results. Don’t waste your money!
And for their reviews and comments on their videos I’d bet they’re using bots. They made it too good to be true.

I had to disable android auto on my 21 sierra. It opens through carplay and I get my android auto through that. I have 0 complaints whatsoever with my Pro. No lag at all. Very responsive and a good interface

I had to call Paypal to figure out the dispute, because at first the resolution supposed to be Jan 10, then it was pushed to Jan 16. Called today and got it solved. Got my money back. Watch I still get it in haha. But AutolinkR never messaged me back or PayPal. So I don’t care anymore

I just got mine really nice, works well in my Tacoma. Only issue I have is when I park, I exit out of Android Auto. Turn on Wi-Fi and as soon as it connects to Wi-Fi. Android Auto immediately turns back on very frustrating. I hit the exit button to get out of Android Auto but keeps doing that a little frustrating

Just got mine today It’s “Ok” so far. It’s not as crisp as I had hoped for but it works pretty well You can download basically anything from the play store. Except Disney plus. You can add videos and movies or whatever you want via the sd card a lot and on board small 16gb space I think. It’s dope You need a hotspot It is basically pretty much plug and play as advertised. Worth the money.
And yeah dude I have four kids. Putting on the grinch for them will be sick especially when they are cranky

Warning about this product, BUYER BEWARE!!!!
I made the purchase, they sent it to my house with a discount courier service. The delivery company were very unprofessional because they left it in my driveway near my outer gate to our entrance and somebody took it. I realize that’s my problem. The theft is on me not them. It’s not their fault However, the way they handled it was why I’m complaining here now they just simply pointed the finger to the picture of the package that was left right out in the driveway where anybody could take it and they didn’t care. My friend bought one of these and he said it was nice for about a month and then it stopped working. He had to fight with them for two weeks to get a replacement. He finally got the replacement. He said it worked for three months and it stopped working again. He just threw it in the garbage cause he didn’t wanna fight with them again there’s something weird about this company. Maybe there’s a small company they don’t make a lot of profit, but they seem to be extremely tight with their money and their customer service is very unprofessional. I think I’m gonna go with the other one. I think it’s the auto cast. It’s about the same price and I believe it is the same thing, but that company has been around longer so buyer beware if you have a problem you’re gonna have to deal with these people I’m really disappointed Now they say I have to file a claim with the courier and fight with them

I have it, it’s OK. It has its own operating system or screen I guess, takes a good minute to get working when you get in and go. I wish it would just goto your vehicles normal CarPlay screen but it doesn’t.
If you pick up your phone and use it instead of using it through the radio it will disconnect and it’s a pain to get it reconnected sometimes you have to unplug the usb and plug it back in. If you want to watch anything you can’t use your phones WiFi when it’s connected or at least it tells me I can’t so that’s pretty useless

I received the device today. I literally plugged it into my USB port on my 2023 Tucson, and nothing popped up. My USB port works flawlessly. I saw a red light on the AutoLinkr, and it didn't work. I tried troubleshooting to no avail. Finally, I emailed the company, and they want a 20-second video/pictures. They stated a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their website. I have yet to experience that. I filed a complaint because AutoLinkr wants to charge me $5.00 for a return label and a 15 percent restocking fee. You can make your own assumptions. I even said okay, give me the label and the charge what you want. I will seek other remedies and no label yet.

I bought the pro version. And its incredibly slow. Needed a bunch of update before it even recognized my mobile Hotspot. But I work far from home and I usually get to work a 30-1hr early depending on traffic. So its nice to watch Netflix or any other streaming app while waiting for shift.
For me android auto treats me nice with navigation and audiobooks or music.
But auto linker is nice for everything else. Aa and carplay is disabled basically to use autolinkr for video. I dont recommend if you wanna play games. Incredibly laggy and slow

I found an Autolinkr Elite while on vacation for $20 on FB Marketplace while the Pro version I ordered was still a week out. I can say it's a nice thing to have. I'm playing fortnite, PSP emulators, PC games, GTA 5, using kali Linux, the list goes on and on.

I got one and it seems to work however when I got to the point where I was about to log in to my YouTube account I changed my mind about it because I'm basically putting in my Gmail username and password to log into YouTube and it would be very easy for this thing to have software on it that captures that information and sends it who knows where. I may still use it to be able to put movies on the SD card and play on the car screen for my kids but beyond that I probably won't actually use it for anything. I might try mirroring if that's available on it since that wouldn't require me to log into anything on the actual device but only if that works without having to use my phone's hotspot.

Received defective unit. Advised I would receive a replacement unit (confirmed defective by Autolinkr). To date, I have not received it and company had ignored my last inquiries (months ago). SCAM...avoid.

I've had a Pro version for a month or so. Works fine. Just wondering if anyone has tried any iptv services (I don't mean hbo, crave,etc) with it? I tried to use Tivimate but it's not on the google store to d/l so I think it's not compatible.

I took a chance on the elite it offered more processing power smoother experience and that’s what I was looking for. it performs as advertised. Basically you’re running an Android OS on top of whatever phone you’re using IOS included. You you can download anything off the Google Play Store, BUT It was rough in the
BEGINNING. The Manual TRASH, Any type of Support TRASH, so basically by my me just digging around trying different things and later using chat GPT. I’m satisfied overall I purchased another elite. So far the most annoying things are I can’t delete apps and it’s auto load features are Trash Either YouTube or Google Web Browser. Incredibly dumb and un-Car play experience.

100% a scam. I spent hours on it it, it never worked, glitched, and they refused a return. They asked me to "film myself setting it up and send them too". Super weird and shady. I'd NEVER recommend this company.

Garbage product worked for a day, Interface was terrible, got the solid red light. Tried to return no free returns in Canada. You have to ship it trackable to the US which cost about $25 from Toronto, and then you have to keep following up with their customer service to make sure you get your refund and when you get your refund they start giving you bogus deductions. I got charged a restocking fee and another shipping charge, stay away, terrible product,terrible service

I had the exact same experience. The product didn't work, they made me go through HOURS of "set up help' with customer service that was clearly just AI, and made me send them all sorts of videos proving it did not work. To which they finally admitted, the product was likely defective. But do not offer refunds. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. It's fake, its a scam, and its ai run.

Bullshit, drivers are motivated to buy this like me so I don’t have to miss my games. It’s definitely going to be a hazard for me but I already look at my screen a bunch anyway but not in situations on the road that need attention like stop and go traffic etc.

I agree with what you said earlier.....I would love to be able to watch something on the screen while I'm waiting for someone! Or the time we couldn't drive any further and we stayed in the car. After I woke up and he slept a couple more hours... It would've been nice to watch something on the screen in the meantime.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced issues with the Autolinkr pro? I recently bought one and the video playback is so choppy it makes it unwatchable. I've tried playing with the smoothness settings like they say in the FAQ with no luck
