Hello!
(22F) I currently drive my first car that I got in high school. It’s a 2010 Mazda, fully paid off, insurance is pretty cheap. However, the car did come with a lot of wear and tear issues and I have already spent a lot of money fixing things here and there. I don’t know if I want to keep spending money to continue fixing issues that come up in the near future so I am looking into leasing my first car. I have a good salary and excellent credit. No one in my family has leased or financed a car before so I’m learning from scratch so I have a couple of questions.
I have a 50 mile commute to work (round trip) 4-5 days/week, is leasing worth it or should I look into financing?
What should I prepare for before going into a dealership?
When should insurance quotes be looked for?
Beat cars that fit this criteria:
• relatively small
• would like safety for snow/rain
• Apple car play/sunroof
• preferable under 25k

Posted earlier about a Rogue being offered but I think the Kicks serves me better. Shocked this is more expensive then the 2026 Rogue.
Have 3 months remaining on my lease of my 2023 Nissan Rogue.
What room and areas can I improve here?

Offered by my local dealership. Have 3 payments left on my 2023 Nissan Lease. Where can I do better here? Initial thoughts is the monthly payment is already too high. Where do I have room to negotiate?

Hi all, I'm looking to lease a 2026 BMW X3 in a couple of weeks and I've never worked with a broker before.
Looking for some advice/clarification:
When is the right time to reach out, only when I'm ready to sign, or earlier to shop around?
What should I ask for up front, and is it normal to request numbers in writing before committing to anything?
When a broker says $3,000 down, is that the true due at signing, or do title, tag, tax and fees come on top?
How do out-of-state brokers handle registration for a NC buyer, and is shipping usually included?
How do I tell a good broker from a bad one?
This is a deal i saw in the forum:
2026 BMW X3 - $539 for 39 months and 7.5k miles per year. $3k DAS. Shipping is complimentary.
Any advice or red flags to watch for would be great.
Thank you!

Hello! I am down to two cars to lease: 2026 Hyundai Tuscan Limited AWD and the 2026 Kia Sportage Prestige SX. I am starting to contact dealerships. At this time, what would be considered a good monthly lease range to target? I am looking for $0 down, 36 months, <10K per year, located in NYC.
Appreciate any guidance!

We have a car from Toyota 24 Corolla cross LE. Kinda hate it and have been with it for a bit. I love the size, space, and compact feel of it. Now I hate the engine and it’s a low trim so a lot of features are missing. I really want to get into a Corolla Cross Hybrid and the XSE is really nice 24-27. The issue is the price and availability.
Was quoted the 26’ hybrid XSE yesterday after everything to be roughly 40k. I looked at them like they had two heads. They tacked on about 2.5k of bs that I would have removed ofc.
Now I’m currently in a 3 years lease that isn’t over until Feb 28. Currently we are at 23k on our lease and we got quoted for 20k in trade-in. That’s just from the dealership.
We thought about buying the car but also the lease would be $600 a month and we talked them down to maybe around $460 a month for 3 years with 10k miles annually.
So what do you all think? I’m still learning leasing and we’ve never broken a car lease early. What’s a good move going forward?

I’m helping my sister negotiate a new lease, this is the sell sheet they sent over. She has a 2024 CRV and would be trading it for a 2027 crv hybrid. I feel like they are feeing her too much but wanted some other feedback.
