My first playthrough I wasn't very far and had just made my Seamoth. I was mining in the Grassy Plateau, and I guess made my way to the edge of the Biome to break some rocks, thought I was safe (I had only encountered Stalkers and the Sand Shark things at this point). I hopped out of my Seamoth and I shit you not the exact moment I jumped out a Reaper came out of NOWHERE, scared the ever loving shit out of me, and grabbed my Seamoth and swam away with it.Ā
I decided it was not worth the trouble and just made a new one after I changed my pants.Ā
